Found Deceased MA - Jaimee Mendez, 25, Swampscott, 6 Nov 2014 - #1 *Arrest*

Really want to clear up that he is not her boyfriend. Also we do not know if Stephanie was with them last week. She has been missing for two weeks and may have been in the hospital the whole time.

Wouldn't her patient information/admission form have the date of when she arrived and in what type of condition? I'm sure it would, but that hasn't been mentioned anywhere that I've read so far.

Maybe BF didn't know she was diabetic. If she died while being high on drugs, he may have panicked and dumped her body somewhere. Maybe both women OD, but since Stephanie was still alive he dropped her off outside of the hospital. Who knows, maybe he drugged them himself so he could take advantage of them. But once Mendez died, he dropped Stephanie off then disposed of Mendez. However, if she were unconscious, that wouldn't explain the scratch marks. So many questions.....

The story on the other woman has so many details missing, other than the re-assurance that they are cooperating with the Mendez, it doesn't sound very credible or it sounds odd, and LE says they are focused on the search for Jaimee Mendez and have been dismissive about a link. I'm going to give it some time to get some kind of confirmation to make sure it isn't some kind of smoke-screen. More details may help.

But I agree in the sense that the way he got rid of the her clothes, the piece of rug and cell phone bespeak panic. The question that nags at me is did he have time to go to someplace he may have fished, a boat, or a marina, away from where he dumped her things. There is a cemetery not too far north of the aggregate plant in Swampscott. According to some WSers, disposing in cemeteries are often signs of remorse after predators kill. Another WSer said that often predators dispose south of where they abduct when they're more desperate because there's some innate feeling of safety going south or something. He couldn't have gotten as far as VA to feel safe, but the coast is a straight shot south from where he dumped her phone. It'd be good to be able to sleuth his fishing connections, where he may have been familiar with and gone often, his comfort zone, so to speak. I think they should be checking security footage of areas along here:

They seem to be communicating with each other of the Find Jaimee Mendez page, not sure if that confirms anything.

Given some of the rumors going down around here, I'm going to say there's a possibility that the guy is...not innocent, but possibly not responsible for her disappearance or death. (Probably guilty of lots of other things though.)

How can I put this? There might be a business relationship involved, and something to do with competitors and clients. Not drugs, or not primarily drugs anyway.

How would you explain the scratch marks that Jaimee's family spotted on him when they first confronted him, or the piece of rug from his van, or the way it was set up like a bedroom, his status as a sexual predator which had to have been active since he was 18, because that perp picture of his is much older than 18?

No one came to the door at the sex offender’s home on Tuesday. Neighbors said they believed he and his family had left Monday night. The Globe is not naming the offender because he has not been charged with Mendez’s disappearance.

IMO he has given LE the information they need to this point. Since there in nothing in MSM stating he has "disappeared" and cannot be located I would assume LE knows of his whereabouts. Seems LE is playing this pretty close to the vest.

Does LE have to make it clear they are not zoning in on the one guy... So they say they are investigating others... Even though there are slim to none other possibilities?

Does it have something to do with protecting the rights of RSO's.... Refraining from what the RSO may claim (in court) as descrimination and harassment?

The list of local violators includes Jason Fleury, 29, last known address 218 Jenness St., who was sought by police and probation officers in August after he failed to notify the state Sex Offender Registry about his decision to leave Lynn.

Find Jaimee Mendez FB note: All the posts from Stephanie's sister regarding how they were trying to determine how long she's been in the hospital have been removed. Wonder if that was on the advise of LE? Same for the JF's FB page being removed?

I am actually an admin on a FB page for another case here on WS and I can tell you that we had to shut it down to all comments and not give any updates this past July and we still cannot post anything new on it. This was directly communicated to us by the Chief of Police.

She sounded kind of leather-lunged and harsh in her telephone interview with the Fox reporter posted up thread, as she opined in effect that the Mendez should back off her son and wait for the 'truth to come out.' She was also dishonest, as she said the sex conviction, from when he was 18, was the only trouble he had had. Seeing as this isn't sleuthing her, just considering her interview with MSM, I hope it doesn't violate the rules, but I will delete it if it has.
