The tiny body found wrapped in a blanket and stuffed in a suitcase beside Interstate 190 in Sterling “is consistent in height and weight with that of Jeremiah Oliver,” Worcester District Attorney Joseph D. Early said this afternoon, all but confirming the 5-year-old Fitchburg boy missing since September has finally been found.

Authorities made the grim discovery about 9 a.m. today, approximately 40 feet from the highway’s southbound side.

“The body was found. It was in a wrapped condition. It was somewhat concealed from the elements, but I can’t go any further than that,” Early said. He declined to say whether there were signs of trauma, citing a pending autopsy and an ongoing investigation.

The medical examiner’s office is expected to confirm the identity today or tomorrow, Early said.

The body “was wrapped in a blanket-type object” and was also packed in a “suitcase, duffel bag type material,” Early told reporters.

finally, I don't need confirmation. I know this is Jeremiah :(

Rest in Peace lil guy. We got this now.

His mother and her boyfriend have been charged with his disappearance, now it is believed his remains have been found.

All authorities are saying for sure is that they found the lifeless body of a small boy, apparently cast off the side of a highway in central Massachusetts.

An autopsy should reveal if the child is Jeremiah Oliver, the Fitchburg 5-year-old missing for months...

Officials said the autopsy report is not complete and there was no information provided on the cause of the 5-year-old Fitchburg boy’s death.
At a Friday press conference, Worcester County District Attorney Joe Early told reporters the body was discovered “wrapped in a blanket-type object” in a “suitcase, duffle bag-type material” about 40 feet off the road around 9 a.m. He said at the time that “it appears to be a homicide.”

So though to see that title thread change :( Even though we all knew and it is a good thing he can now be shown respect in death he wasn't in life.

But hard nonetheless :(

Near as I can tell this is the area he was found in. It's a 2014 Google view so More than likely the suitcase is in those bushes. Imagine.:(

I could be a little off distance wise.
