Again. Trying to catch up on certain details. How does inverting the Lexus video help the CW case? I totally believe it was done intentionally… I just don’t understand what it does to bolster the case against KR. Even if the inverted view shows the taillight…well that’s not even in dispute in the first place is it? And didn’t proctor already have the vehicle for an unaccounted for period of time? Moo TIA

I’m not sure what the question is here in relation to my post you quoted. I had said the inverted video can’t be seen as anything other than deceitful, which is what you’re saying as well it appears.

My guess is the CW hoped no one would notice it was inverted and because it was inverted it appeared to the jury that Proctor was near the driver side rear and taillight rather than the implicated passenger side rear and taillight, thus making it appear he did not tamper with the implicated passenger side taillight as defense alleges.

Maybe the video is of them pulling out (because they had originally backed the SUV in) of the garage bay and then pulling back in.

IMO MOO (it's not fact that the SUV was originally backed in....just my theory.)

Maybe they got video from somewhere along the way when vehicle on the tow truck. Seems impossible because would’ve had to have been secured some time later but you never know.

Back to the sallyport video for a moment. If you watch it in it's entirety, you'll notice a female officer come into the scene. I believe that's Kelly Dever, former Canton cop now with Boston PD. No one has mentioned her yet, but she is on the defense witness list. Apparently Officer Dever has some interesting observations about what went on in the sallyport with Karen's vehicle.

The video is reversed. We can't see the taillight. We can see Michael Procter focusing on it though.

With that kind of head injury, he may have had a seizure. May have been minimal vomiting so it doesn’t have to be all over himself or surrounding ding area .

I don’t think anyone testified to that… only that they found the pieces.

It’s hardly a vast “conspiracy” when you consider the culture/loyalty that waldojabba mentioned. And besides that, Nearly all of those in attendance at the Albert home that night are tightly bonded/intertwined as family, iirc. Add the lead investigator MP as a close friend to that group. These people have lived intertwined lives for a long time. There are at least two generations involved in these families, too. Some families will do anything to protect their own.

Those who weren’t family but just friends, appear to have no knowledge of the wider going-on’s that night. So cross them off of the so-called conspiracy list.

I think it’s worth remembering that any first responder could be indirectly intimidated by this seemingly powerful group in that town. I can’t remember if we had any issues with testimony from EMTs, for example, though. In some places, you keep your mouth shut if you do happen to know something, too.

I just don’t think it’s that hard of a concept to grasp.

Nothing in the investigation materials suggests any blood or vomit was found at the scene beyond the drops collected in the red solo cups.

Intentional (which I think it was) or not, the damage has been done. Even if for some reason the Canton PD video is always mirrored, Lally and Buk both authenticated the video as being an accurate depiction, Buk on the stand and Lally by admitting it into evidence. Neither of them acknowledged that the video was mirrored or why it would have been. They just acted like the video depicted what was going on. It's bad.

Not sure what you mean by enhanced. The video shown in court is mirrored. The taillight the CW would have us believe killed JO is not visible.

If you mean that the "good" taillight on the driver's side appears damaged, some think the video has been tampered with to make it appear that was the damaged side and Proctor never came near it. I'm not there yet, but we'll see what AJ has tomorrow.
