I'm confused (following too many cases). So he was found in the street/sidewalk area? I thought he was found in the yard/backyard of his friends.

Are the two sides saying something different or...what is the source?
no
sorry rods,
have no idea what or where you are talking about the street/sidewalk.

JO was found in the front yard of the Alberts property.

Exactly where KR left him.

Trooper Paul said a pedestrian’s center of mass is along the chest area. It isn't. In men it's usually at or just above the navel, and in women it is typically below the navel. Obesity and pregnancy can impact this but in an average Joe walking around on two legs - the center of mass (aka the center of gravity) is definitely not in the chest. Just an FYI, may not mean anything but felt that need corrected because it was accepted at face value and it's wrong.

RBBM

Haven't seen evidence of a car hitting a body either.

Is there any CW?
The crash reconstructionist put on by the commonwealth was pretty bad. He was only a few years out of the academy and had just a few weeks of courses examining telematics data.

I've seen crash specialists in other trials use computer modeling or actual crash-test dummies to recreate the accident. In contrast, he was just sort of spitballing what could have happened. And as other people have suggested his evaluation of the key cycle data was full of holes. He even said he was unfamiliar with the Toyota/Lexus data until this case. (Which is kind of surprising considering how many Toyotas are on the road. How could he be unfamiliar with them?)

I wonder if the Commonwealth tried and failed to find a "real" reconstructionist to support their theory.

And to give the prosecution their due, his testimony stands in stark contrast to their cellphone data analyst. She clearly knew her stuff. I don't know if she was correct or not, but she was very believable. But she was a specialist, not a trooper who had taken a couple of courses.

Now I have to look up his testimony.

For that you get double :)

Here's your assignment. It's only 13 pages.

It doesn't make sense her driving around looking for him.

He was at his friends house. According to her.

It was a blizzard outside.
There is no chance JO was out wandering around in it.

Her behaviour reeks of someone in a frenzy who had done something terrible and dire and was still trying to work out what the heck to do with the nightmare she had created.

moo
Exactly. Are there texts or voicemails that say "hey honey, you sleeping it off there?" "is one of the guys going to give you a ride home or do you need me to come get you, love you bye". Why does she go into an instant panic and starts calling then heading out?

But karen has said she dropped him off at the ALBERTS.
Everything was great between them.

So why was she running around like a mad woman searching for him????

He is an adult....with a phone....hangin with his boys.
This is the narrative she produced.

Her own actions and words do not pass the sniff test.

She sensed something is off maybe. I heard that he’d never just not come home to the kids so she probably knew he wouldn’t just not come home.

If we can’t come to a consensus and we get to scrutinize the evidence presented to the jurors and also evidence they won’t see imagine how confused and divisive these jurors must be
Seriously. But at this point, I think the only verdicts we'll have to "worry about" are either not guilty or hung jury. Zero chance, at this point with what we know, she will be found guilty.

Center mass to me is the middle of the chest as depicted in shooting range targets. Like where police are trained to shoot.

They were both really really drunk. If you think this is the first time I got some property to sell you in AZ.

This seemed to be a way of life in Canton.

She had multiple sugeries and colin issues. She dropped him off and waited for him and then just couldn't wait any longer, so she headed home. She called him over and over again. She passed out. 4 hrs later she wakes up in a start and he is not there. She looks at her phone and finds she sent him FU messages and tries to remember why. She panicks when he won't answer and enlists help.
