Right. No. It didn't happen. I think his friends were just up all night freaking out and throwing ideas around. We pretty much know whatever happened, that wasn't it.

I keep getting hung up on -- lets even say car abduction, if a camera captured him why would the lets say car abduction not be on video.

Now as I catch there were several diff cameras that cought him at several locations. It would seem cops would be looking at vehicles that were in shots ?

Also was he walking sober, or blitzed?

The more I read and think about him, the more worrisome this becomes. He just lost his beloved grandma last month and from the descriptions I am surmising he may have had some depression issues. It seems everyone has a special love for him - and they're all so worried. Prayers today will bring answers.

Its Facebook. LOL.
But seriously, I Really hope so. He is posting on the Boston PD FB.

some interesting comments here :Hope this ok to post

Something is just not adding up! This guy is my friends nephew and none of it is making sense!

Phones have gps

I need to contact someone I might have info

just sharing ...........they took this guy off (?) the missing person report later on therie page Harvard Police Sergeant Coates at (978) 456-1212. Not implying anythingaat all........... just noticed that it had been edited

Dudes a good kid. Went to hs with him. Hope they find him safe

This man sat near my husband & daughter when they went to the Bruins game last week. They briefly spoke and he found out it was my daughter's first game. He went and bought her a Bruins winter hat! It was completely unexpected but so thoughtful! He didn't know her but wanted her first game to be memorable. That shows you what kind of person he is. I pray for him and sincerely hope that he is found!

know Zach from work. He's a great kid. Please God, bring him home safe

He was in paddy o's on Saturday night. Did not see where he left to after leaving though. Hope is found ok

Sluething...... but there seems to be an awful awful amount of mentions in comments in a lot of places that keep referring to this kind of thing is happeneing ( young males, leave bars, found in body of water, usually cold)very frequently in Boston area , recently.

Any of you know or find anything on a "pattern". I am looking and will post if I find anything

Can anyone use this image to give us some ideas about directions of where he was seen and where water is , the other club etc etc

I know. Me too.
I really hope and pray that he is safe somewhere.
So loved by so many.

In this photo it sure.looks like he is on his cell phone.

4 minutes between shots -- folks who know area - does this jive?

How long a walk are we talking about?

Top photo does not look like bar.Are these two pics in front of same storefront? Four minutes apart, then it seems like he was just pacing talking as oppossed to heading somewhere else??

I am "visual". If anyone has the skill set would be interesting to see all the locations mentioned in relation to one another in an effort to see if this looks like a drunk walk-- a lost walk ,etc

Interesting tidbits from Moms link ! My sense is we are getting tid bits about "issues"

5:30 p.m. on Friday

young man texted his dad to notify him he was safely aboard,

“Glad you’re on. Be safe. I love you,’’ the father told his son. “I love you, too,’’ the son replied.

now Matt Marr wonders if those are the last words he’ll hear from the little kid he
coached in soccer, the young man who had just celebrated his birthday, who was building a career, and reaching for an education that once seemed beyond his grasp.(interesting nuance)

he was going to show people just what he could do.’’ IMO interesting as well

’’ he said. “If the outcome is having to go to a funeral, we’re all going to be devastated. I don’t want anybody to blame themselves for what happened.’’

I found that word choice interesting in this context.

Zachary was very close to his paternal grandmother, (thus far no mention of bio mom) who died last month---loss issues?

he was down at his grandma’s house, just sitting there,’......... noting the death hit his son hard.

............family had planned to clean out her apartment on Saturday

....
Tuesday, Matt Marr spent time fielding calls, blinking back tears.....he and a platoon of family and friends scour websites, paste posters.

...and how many dads get an "I love you too" text from their 22-year old son? It really does seem like a close family. In an earlier article, the dad said Zachary had some "street smarts" and the cousin speculated about "meeting a woman". I'm afraid that maybe Zachary was looking for a little adventure to cap off his night and he met up with a bad person.

WS is so neat! When I read it I instanrtly thought substance / drug addiction or dealing

CARIIS!! What the...? LOL

Hi Mom!!

Sometimes it does that and sometimes it does not ! Weird. YOu should have seen the first time it did it. I had posted SEVERAl pics. And then it did that . Boom. As I scrolled down to find the delete button it scrolled, and scrolled, (at this point i am thinking sh#t, I just blew up WS) scrolled further finally got to delte button.

It was phenomenal!

THAT picture was giant just giant. And in this exciting adventure I could not locate (casue of images immensity!) the scroll bar ;it was that way, to the left -- way, way to the left.....so to the left the it remained unlocatable !!!

On this occassion (images seem to a concern!!) I was advised by a mod that I had blown out the margins!!
B O O M !

Between my photo escapades, in conjunction with my typing /spelling ..........................................

:loveyou: CARIIS!

lov ya back actually if it did not go on so long it could have just looked like i was typing thats funny!

Ah the joy of paper and ink...........................

Folks in that area;
How far is the garage referred to from the actual bar?
What types of retail would be passed going that way (ie cameras along that route)?
What direction is that?
What is the artery?
Is it a place someone would be heading at that time?
Is it a dnagerous part of town, or the dsirection he was heading entering a more dangerous area?

Newbie poster, but long time lurker. The Boston Public Market across the street from the Bell in Hand. The surface artery (I-93) is east of both, and between the bar and Boston Harbor. It's about .4 mil east to the water from the bar. The bar is less than 1/4 mile from 3 subway stations, to the north, southwest and southeast. The commuter rail he would take to go back to Littleton is from North Station, about 1/2 mile north of the Bell in Hand. The area is busy and a central tourist location, with many restaurants, bars and retail shops. I wouldn't consider it a dangerous area, but it's still the city.

Oh no no no!!

Damn. That's a good 15min. Walk to the nearest entry point...

I still don't even get why he went out for a smoke during Last Call. You're gonna be outside soon enough anyway, it's near closing time.

Most people are getting that last drink, using the restroom ect... and they have that smoke when they leave, (unless they were waiting for someone, and got a call, "Almost there, meet us out front.").

So sad! Wonder where the "tip" the article mentioned came from?
So many questions still remain...

Investigators are searching the waters of the Charles River and Boston Harbor in connection with missing 22-year-old Harvard, Massachusetts, man Zachary Marr.
Authorities have focused their attention on the waters around Boston’s North Station on the Charles River as the Boston police’s dive team searched near the Zakim Bridge, NECN reported.

Police told NECN that they received information that led them to undertake a search in this area.

“There’s no information to indicate foul play played a role,” Boston police spokesman Officer James Kenneally said in a related Boston Globe article. “We continue to seek the public’s help in an effort to locate Zach.”

Oh no. This reminds me of the young man that left the bar in Philly and wound up in the Schuylkill river. I hope I'm wrong

I had been seeing it mentioned all over the web, that they were going to find this guy in the water, like so many others before him.

Some think it's the work of a serial killer(s), some think it's just a guy's inclination to take a leak in a lake and they fall in, others chalk it up to stumbling around lost, whilst drunk, and falling in accidentally.

Somehow I can't picture this kid being so inclined to fall in the Charles...

This makes me feel like going all Commando Mom and patrolling the downtown area on weekends in the early am!

Probably not my best idea ever...
