I also am going there also --- grandma death, valentines day , his birthday, at 22, under the influence, these can be pretty overwhelming --- especially if you are lost and lost the one thing (grandma) that was the only entity that both gave you hope and a sense of being guided with whatever may be coming next ...................................

The Tuesday quote , which I posted earlier , was very telling to me -dispair ................

supposedly the lie about not being able to get back in , fits here as well....its time to go .....................and at 0.4 miles away pretty "doable"

Its a photo or video that you can alter and add text to. You send it. Once the recipient opens it, it deletes in 3 seconds.

Snapchat is personal and can include pictures. They also disappear after they've been seen. My kid uses it regularly.

Snapchat is kind of like person-to-person(s) instagram.

My kid is the same and I agree. Totally normal for someone in his age group in the situation.

glad your hear its really odd stuff going on here . From my understanding its busy touristy area.Its not like there would not be cameras in one store after another.

The guys seems to go from store 1 camera to store 4 camera and in between nothing.

Thank god this is WS and we are not going to ponder that a space ship came along between stores 2 and three and sucked him into the sjy. SO where the heck did he go??

Why would a person want a picture of a choclate cake to disapear? I can get it if you were dealing heroin! But what is the appeal of it disappearing after read, sound like folks on the unit that were suffering with paranoia..........

Yes, they are close together. Where they are searching is where the Charles River meets the harbor.

He was very close to his grandma. No mention thus far of a bio mom in his life. A bio mom, or wife (by hsi dad) or any of his cousinsns have never been mentioned or referred to.

On tues dad said he was just sitting there alone --fighting back tears ....alone

just struck me as it relates to profound loss this week, grandma, Valentines day, his birthday ............and we have a very sad lost young man drinking

there have , by dad , been references to him having issues, having sturggled academically ealier in his life (LD?)..............................

He might take a picture of his face and say "I'm freezing, let me back in!" or whatever. I think kids have learned the dangers of the internet is forever and how easy it is for others to see your private FB and instagram photos. It's just the newest thing.

The difference here in Zachary's case vs. all the other young men who go missing after leaving a bar alone in the wee hours is Zachary's intent was questionable. In all other cases I remember, the young man's intent was to walk to his dorm/car/apartment and they never get there.

No one really knows what Zachary's intent was, except to throw his cousins off the trail by saying he couldn't get back in, and then leaving where they expected him to be there when they exited the bar.

I think it's very likely he killed himself. Prayers by some miracle he's still alive somewhere.

I was thinking along similar lines. But what has me hesitating is this: if he was intent on self harm, would he have sent a message to his cousin "hey they aren't letting me in let's leave"? Or would he have tried to throw them off trail by saying something like " hey, met a friend, see ya later". I mean what If they came out right away instead of 10 mins later?
