This is a 22 year old model and is up for €19k. The one CB bought was at least 5 years newer than that when he got it so would be surprised if he bought for something as little as €5k. Ultimately, not sure how much it matters. Still something dodgy about it IMO. Does it say where the auction took place by any chance?

Yes, these auctions take place in my country almost every week.

Although in german:

I know some think this guy is a bit of a (!!) but here's a couple of his recent tweets.
M-W-Thomas

"Also reports that Portuguese media have found 'fundamental evidence' to prove that #ChristianBrueckner is responsible for the death of #MadeleineMcCann. I don't know what this alleged proof is , but do know it comes from court papers obtained by the media."

"Update : Reports from Portugal are that recent searches are as a result of locations identified by police from photographs of #ChristianBrueckner campervan. The searches at this stage have all proved negative . #MadeleineMcCann"

So do we still think it's Barranco beach and not Boca D Rio?

Just heard some good news out of France. A man there has been arrested for orchestrating some of the most successful and widely visited dark web child assault websites. I take joy in hearing that these people are being captured and so frequently now it seems.

i don't think he was in a position to keep her for days at that point though. its possible that fantasy even came much later. (was it in 2013 he made those comments?)
but realistically, he was homeless living out a camper-van at the time he took MM, infact he was living with his pal mischa at that point wasn't he? so it wouldn't have been possible to hide her, she would make noise, she'd cry. there's noway he could keep her hidden whilst keeping her alive with all the police presence, it would have been way to risky for him IMO. obviously i'm completely guessing and i could be wrong but i think he disposed of her pretty soon after he did what he wanted to. :(
I think it was later when he spoke of putting in a glass panel to look down into his cellar at his dacha. MM could be a victim on his evolution to committing increasing sinister plans as he gets braver with more sophisticated fantasies to fulfill :(

I meant is it mentioned in the news article where exactly in Germany this auction of the Allegro took place?

Yes, according to german tabloid BILD.

See, I had it in my head it was the box factory he bought at foreclosure? And that translated paragraph kinda reads the same to me. If it was the Winnebago he bought at auction, the correct sentence structure would be:
“... the investigators found the motor home four years ago - on the site of an old box factory in Neuwegersleben - which B. bought with his money from his burglaries at foreclosure.”
That little hyphen makes all the difference.

just tidying up the last bit
... investigators found the motorhome four years ago ... on the site of an old box factory in Neuwegersleben (near Magdeburg), which B had bought at a foreclosure sale, with the money from his burglaries in Portugal

IMO the meaning is he bought the factory (not the bago) at a foreclosure sale.

What do wells have to do with pictures? Likely every property has an old well. And the beach picture location was positively identified by background terrain ..... it was all back in the last couple of threads ..... did you read any of them ?

Speaking of wells ... I doubt CB would dump a body in one where he lives or used to live. Much too close to home and would tie him to it.

I was being cautious and yes i did read them, thankyou.

Hold on, does this mean he earned this money from the moment he came out of prison to the moment he appeared in Spain with this vehicle?
Because remember, he was penniless. His money and belongings got stolen. He did not even have money to pay for his fine nor to rent a house. His car got taken by police in exchange for his fine.
So, he came out late in 2006 and by June 2007 he had the vehicle.

According to this article he bought it at an auction for 36.000 EUR. Lots of money for a "playground".

Maybe the Tiffin Allegro was part of the auction. There were many vehicles.

His belongings didn't necessarily get "stolen" - it was most likely a fake "burglary" ie - some friends took care of his stuff for a while.
Also it wouldn't have been impossible to have sold just one stolen Rolex watch to buy the Allegro -

The article says (translated) -

"Just 90 kilometers from Wilhelmshof, B. had bought the overgrown site of an old box factory in Neuwegersleben in 2010 for 36,000 euros and parked there, among other things, the wine-red Jaguar XJR, which he possibly also used to kidnap Madeleine."

So the Allegro was not part of the deal as he was already driving it in May/June 2007 according to MT.

Unfortuneatly you're right. Just imagine it was a job, maybe some deposite before. I read, also the Tiffin Allegro has been bought at an auction. Almost 30 years old without a real market for these huge vehicles in germany. Hard to imagine, he paid more than 5.000 - 10.000 EUR for this vessel. And i am very into american vehicles!

Later on (one or two days?!) maybe given the info to the abductor, that the "goods" are branded due to the circumstances and the "deal" has been set of. So you maybe got an sadistic pedophile with a "little one". Would he set her free at a gas station maybe at first thought?! I don't know....
Apparently the Winnebago cost 40.000 euro at the time:

Big link, was on fidar news
But mentions about the photos

MADELEINE McCann cops are today probing newly unearthed satellite pictures of prime suspect Christian B’s campervan days after she vanished.

A Spanish investigator has spent days scouring old satellite imagery after the 43-year-old serial child sex beast was identified last week.

The suspect was living in this campervan in Portugal when Madeleine disappeared

And German police and Scotland Yard have now been sent a picture which could show the roof of the VW Westfalia T3 van parked near his former Praia da Luz home.

The image could prove crucial because it suggests the distinctive van was taken back to open land Christian B was familiar with after living close-by for six years.

Imagery shows the white roof of a van of similar dimensions to the VW parked beside a hedge yards from a ramshackle single-storey former farmhouse plot.

He lived there with a German lover from 1999 to 2006, when he did a runner and left the building strewn with debris including wigs and smashed computer gear.

But the picture shows the van appears to have been driven back to the plot – which is surrounded by scrubland littered with deep, abandoned well shafts.

One of the old stone wells is visible a few feet from the van.

The image was captured days after three-year-old Madeleine went missing at the very start of the massive police search.

A Portuguese investigating source said last night: “If that is the van in that spot – so soon after the abduction – the image could be extremely significant.

“He would have known that area well having lived there for six years but he had left the farmhouse months earlier.

“So why did he go back at a time when everyone was looking for missing Madeleine?”

Christian B, now 43, split with his German partner after tempestuous rows at the ramshackle farmhouse.

Lilly, that's been posted here several times that Spanish investigator's satellite picture didn't show CB's VW but a Renault van parked there until August, 2007 according to police.
