If I'm reading this right there's a statute of limitations to charge on lesser charges, ie: CB can only be charged with murder now.? Is this the case?


German media note that the suspect cannot be charged with anything other than murder, as the statute of limitation for lesser charges has passed.

I think he could still be prosecuted for a sexual violence crime against MM, give her age at the time of her disappearance.

I'd say without corroborating evidence anything sexual is hard to prove, as it is the murder charge seems as far away as ever, all opinion.

At about 2.08 mins in video clip the text talks about .. “ Christian had a buyer for a couple who couldn’t have a child .. would take a child from a rich family in PDL .. would be ok to do to a family with more than one child ..would not grieve as badly ..would get over it quicker .. Christian had further planning to do before event would take place .. “

Interesting parallel to part in Netflix doc Ep.8 … ( just after @ 28 mins ) … where AS mentions a report from a British witness seeing a car at @ 2245 on 3rd May with woman in front looking into back of car ..he recognised the woman .. knew the couple , and that woman very much wanted to have a child , but had apparently been unable to do so .. were heading in rough direction of nearby marina at the time .

The person may not of been called as a witness at any of the trials that start next week, we don't know, but I'm sure lots more stuff will be coming out in the next few weeks and months

Right but it would be odd for the key new breakthrough witness to a murder case to do a tv exclusive when the suspect is not even charged yet. it could wreck the case!

Perhaps. Unlikely though to rely on something that time/system glitches/random system cleans could wipe.

If I'd made an emailed statement to police regarding something so potentially serious to the MM investigation in the year of her disappearance, I would definitely also have made a hard copy of it. And also a hard copy of their response.

Lets face it, if this person really was a critical witness in one of the biggest unsolved murder cases ever, they would not be on tv talking about it - they would be in court
