Because frankly, IMO, she dumped Caylee on her parents every chance she got. She was able to go out and party way more than other young single moms (like Brittany S.). She used her daughter as a pawn against George and Cindy. She had a trail of boyfriends that she brought Caylee around AND let that baby sleep in the bed with some of these men.:banghead:

Even if she didn't kill her intentionally, she was hardly the picture of a "good mother" by any standards. If anything, Cindy was the good mother to Caylee.:twocents:

IMO, yes she did see that. Her testimony was that they (meaning the Anthony family as a whole) were not that close back then. Therefore, Mallory was not around all that much. She saw what ICA wanted her to see and that was a fantastic Mom. Was she? Heck NO, but that is what Mallory saw because that is what ICA wanted her to see. People like ICA can make you believe and truly trust in what is happening. It's not until you leave that alter universe that you were living in that you see the real reality that was going on. Am I saying that some of them didn't have gut feelings? NO, I'm not, but someone like Mallory who may not have not been around to see it all, then Yes I am.

I too agree that casey took care of her child and didn't abuse her in the typical sense. I think she may have even been fond of her at times, like one is fond of a favorite toy. But I think when they were alone and casey did not have to act, the fact that she viewed Caylee as a doll, or that she didn't feel real, deep love for her, came out in subtle, devastating ways. I would sum it up as Caylee likely felt a lack of love when they were alone or a confusing lack of a bond.

Either way, there have been several people who seemed like model parents or husbands and for all intents and purposes, were, when they were with their spouses or kids, who then went on to kill them. scott peterson, susan smith, etc. etc.



I didn't watch but would guess that Mallory was called to lay a foundation for the fact that they were frantically searching for casey, eventually, because she was withholding Caylee and that casey avoided them.

One of the most telling things ever said about ICA and her relationship with Caylee was in one of the very first interviews with CA- when asked where she thought ICA and Caylee had gone to , she said that she knew ICA had taken time away to "bond with her child". I was shocked when she said that and was thinking -what mother of a 2 year old has yet to form a bond, or needs time alone with her to 'bond'- what has she been doing for the last 2+ years ?
The truth is the maternal bond was with CA all along.

I think Mallory has been trained to be an Anthony. Deny who Casey really is in public and embellish everything to make Casey sound better, and save negativity and criticism for behind closed doors. I bet in private she's not that glowing about Casey as she was on the stand today. Maybe Mallory is afraid that if Casey went after LA and GA that Casey might go after her if she doesn't suck up to Casey on the stand.

I do also think she feels bad for Caylee, not Casey. She just can't say that on the stand and be against Casey on record. I just don't see her being devastated over Casey, but I can see her being devastated over sweet Caylee, who loved dearly the mother that ended up killing her. I'm betting that Mallory is still wondering why and how this happened.

I just hope Lee isn't nearly as nice on the stand.

It seems like a trend with people saying she was a good mother. Public parenting is a pass/fail thing imo. It's mostly hidden from people whether a person is an "excellent mother". Just because you don't see someone torture or abuse a kid doesn't make them a good mother.There is no way ICA could be considered excellent by any stretch, she was barely adequate.

Mallory, Mallory, why do you think Casey would not see you and her own brother the night you went searching for her? Where was Caylee then?

Mallory, have you ever considered that Casey was waiting for Caylee's body to decompose, so no one could prove the crime she committed on her own daughter? Why did Casey avoid everybody for those 31 days? Mallory, did you really see "amazing"?

It would have been a lot longer than that if CA hadn't tracked her down. If it had been left up to her to report her missing, I don't believe she would!

Ms England is a true Caylee hero for telling the truth when she took the stand. She says Casey got off the phone and said, "OMG, I'm such a good LIAR." Everybody should've had tears in their eyes for Caylee then.

MP disappointed me by keeping her answers safe and almost pro-Casey. Yes, Caylee adored her mother. I can believe that.

No matter who testifies, ICA was the only person who should have been seen grieving and was not. CA GA LA were missing Caylee. ICA was clearly not missing her. She's toast.

She did not reply to question saying:
Casey was great Mom ..she was so patient with Caylee.
They use to play dress up together.
I don't know how she did it all.
She would buy her the cutest outfits.
I can still hear her Caylee's giggles when Casey would snuggle with her ....

NOPE All she said was AMAZING ... what she didn't say was a lot louder than what she did say .....JMO

I'm guessing that the State had reason not to ask her to elaborate on this definition.

I was confused by Mallory's testimony but walked away with a few observations. Mallory testified honestly. She did state she and Casey were not close to the point they hung out alone together. Any of her observations of Casey and Caylee were likely in the presence of George,Cindy,Lee. Of course Casey would present as a great Mom in front of her meal ticket (Parents) The fact that Mallory is still engaged to Lee supports she does not believe the molestation or attempt of. I'm sure it had to be very emotional for her.

I believe Mallory is a very timid and complacent girl and that is something that LA probably needs after CA and ica. In her deposition she talked about the first time ica
came home from jail they did not ask ica any questions and made it a celabratory dinner for her and I am trying to find a polite way of saying she was ok with that and I think if the boat starts rocking she gets scared I believe today she was scared and sad over something she just realized and that is what ica had done to an innocent.

CMA, maybe it is still CMA, a United Front even if each person has a different role. It is all designed to support reasonable doubt to save ICA who is still an important finger in the hand. I wonder if MP will want Casey to babysit at the house sometime in the future.
