Suspect in 'heinous' murder of suburban Chicago native arrested on Florida beach

Law enforcement on Monday announced an arrest in the "heinous" murder that left a suburban Chicago native dead.

Ex-husband arrested on Florida beach for double murder inside Frederick County home

David Phillip Turner, 33, has been arrested for allegedly killing Crimea Baker, and Sean Lange in New Market last month.

"Turner is being held at the Broward County Jail, awaiting an extradition hearing. According to the Broward County Court Clerk, he is due back in court at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.

The Frederick County Sheriff's Office says extradition could take weeks or up to a month. When brought back to Maryland, Turner will be held in the Frederick County Jail, according to Jenkins."

The suspect then allegedly fired “more than 42 rounds” at the victims at close range."
