Apparently he's at Georgetown U. Note this is before the latest twist.

I've never heard of vacating a vacay like this. (probable wrong terms).

Although the basis of the Appeals Court's decision was the lack of notice to the victim's family, I think the court's main issue was the thin evidence that was presented at the hearing and the fact that the judge did not adequately explain the basis for his decision to vacate the conviction: "We remand for a new, legally compliant, and transparent hearing on the motion to vacate, where Mr. Lee is given notice of the hearing that is sufficient to allow him to attend in person, evidence supporting the motion to vacate is presented, and the court states its reasons in support of its decision." JMO.

So It seems like they are reinstating this conviction ,that they said was unjust , saying a victims family has a right to hold a person accountable , even if they were declared wrongfully convicted because they have rights ?
So No one matters because they (the Lee's) are the victims and the state of Maryland was like
'',your right'' 'if you feel better feeling he is guilty all that matters is your feelings. Facts are not needed.'' So what do we do now ? Segregate negative aspects of each of the opposing sides an start throwing shade at whichever side feel the most righteous or we identity with what suit our values?
Sad thing is ,they were lied to and made victims of the system as much as Adnan was ,they just have not seen it yet.

Imo the Lees are being exploited by the atty gen office because that office had so many fingers pointed at the mistakes the prosecution made in the original conviction.

The Lees on the other hand have a vested interest in having the murder be seen as a result of the only relationship, in their eyes, that their dsughter/sister ever had, which makes AS look like a bad guy for breaking cultural norms leading to the demise of their daughter/sister. imo they do not want publicity to come out on other relationships she may have had after they split, ie someone else who may have murdered her, because that dilutes the image of AS as being the one who led her into that culturally taboo relationship, although evidence presented in the podcasts showed that both were equally part of the high school romance, that neither was a predator who led the other astray. Remember thst neither could bring the boyfriend/girlfrieend home, and at least in the AS home he could not be dating at all.

So the Lees in my opinion want to make sure that AS is the bad guy (aside from the murder conviction), and they themselves are sadly being used within the political system in MD to enact revenge on Mosby who, even tho gone, made them appear so incompetent.

You'd have to review the evidence presented by the prosecution criticizing the previous actions of the previos prosecution.

My point was that all evidence can't be shown, just enough to cast serious doubt on the conviction of AS while showing that other people were not sufficiently investigated.
