The paper did not say who passed away I wonder if it was the guy that dropped her off supposedly that the dad would question and show up around him ? Or the ex boyfriend that had a argument that night with her ? I hope the dad gets some closure soon

Hey calvin I guess you follow or post here you took your Facebook page down soon as I said something about !

I think the obvious case of Tisdale taking his Facebok page down after Thedude posted that he viewed is shows how dangerous it is to say anything that could identify my friend in this case.

I fear I have said too much already. After re-reading it, I think I didn't identify her. I hope not.

Tisdale has been a resident of Auburn as of a few years ago. He had been busted on pot charges there. I'm not sure about a conviction, I'm unable to find it now. He lived on Cook Street at the time (I believe)

Has your friend tried to talk to Kimberlys father? He is actively still searching and may be able to help get this information to the right person. Or crime stoppers maybe?

Kimberly has been missing 28 years today.

I hope they went over her girl friend and the older man story a million times, as well as her boyfriends. Someone in that trio has to know something. Was she intercepted by her boyfriend after she was dropped off? Was she taken by someone else, and were their other crimes similar to hers or her disappearance near the area? Was she ever dropped off that night at all? Questions, questions.

I believe she was never dropped off.. there were two men and one other girl besides Kim. I know the names of the men its findable on here.. Oddly the one who owned the cars name is never mentioned but both men are still around. The Girlfreind, who I was also friends with has passed away, she knew something, so do both of the men.. I bet that girl never made it back to Jay that night but stayed in Canton, or another party spot I knew about.

"We think she's deceased," said McDonough. "We think it's a result of foul play. Unfortunately we don't have a crime scene and we don't have her remains, which would be very important in bringing this case to closure and solving it."

One person who hasn't given up the search for Kim is her father, Richard. He has put up around 300 missing person signs of Kim spanning over 130 miles of western Maine. He maintains every single one himself, using bright duct tape to catch the attention of passers by. He realizes the odds of her still being alive aren't in his favor, but the only thing he's looking for is closure.

"I can't stop, it's my daughter," said Richard as he held back tears. "It's the only thing I can do. I will keep doing it."

i'm already here just a couple hours north. i'm fm maine but went away to college, grad school, and the u.s. air farce(yes i ment to spell it that way). i came back to the world in 1975. i have been all over and travel quite a bit.

a rendevous is an annual or semi annual get together. in the 1800's it was a chance for mountain men to sell their furs, resupply, play some games, and talk with their long unseen buddies. it lasted a few days to 2 weeks. the ancient ones are a group of reenactors who dress in period correct clothing prior to 1840. they camp in the style of pre 1840 w as period correct clothing and tents as is available or can be made. they are a wonderful group of people. i had friends there so i went to see them. one guy sold flintlock muskets, another knives, one did flint fr firemaking and arrowheads, some made clothing. u get the idea. i did not join only because i'm already in too much. thanks for asking.

"Family of Kimberly Moreau supports cold case squad"

http://www.sunjournal.com/news/franklin/2015/03/13/family-kimberly-moreau-supports-cold-case-squad/1668506

Recently, Maine Assistant Attorney General Lisa Marchese said, according to www.unitedforayla.com, that Maine State Police are attempting to secure assistance from the FBI in Kim's disappearance and death. Although no trace of her has ever been found, Kim was declared dead in 1993.

"We've been offered help by the FBI. It has been flatly denied," Dalot said.

Now, the family is asking people to sign a petition for a cold case squad, which they believe is needed in Maine not just for Kim's case but for all the other missing persons reports that go unsolved. The petition can be found online at www.change.org/p/permanently-fund-a-cold-case-squad-in-maine.

"After 29 years, father still searching for his missing daughter"

http://www.wmtw.com/news/After-29-years-father-still-searching-for-his-missing-daughter/32803398

“I know I’ll never see her in this life again, but having her body at the cemetery aside of my mother who died of cancer two years after she disappeared, her grandfather who died a year after she disappeared- all of these people are gone and we still haven’t got Kim. And here it is 29 years after and we’re still doing this,” he said.

What an amazing father. I believe I will spotlight Kim's story on my Missing Angels-Cold Cases blog next.

"Cold Case Squad Official in Maine"

http://www.foxbangor.com/news/local-news/10114-cold-case-squad-offical-in-maine.html

One father that hopes to gain justice from this squad is Richard Moreau, whose daughter, Kimberly, disappeared on May 9th, 1986. Kimberly was 17 years old when she went out with some friends and never was seen or heard from again.

“Being a parent that has a child that's missing and trying to get help all these years and knowing that if there was somebody who was dedicated to doing this, maybe my daughter would be home by now,” said Moreau.

"Police search Canton property for second day in Moreau cold case"

http://www.wmtw.com/news/police-launch-search-for-woman-missing-nearly-30-years-father-says/34570506

Richard Moreau told WMTW News 8 Thursday morning that a large-scale search is going on in Canton off Route 108.

Enman was one of the last people to see Kimberly Moreau alive.

Moreau said he was told that Maine State police have new information on his daughter's disappearance.

"They've got to have some good, strong evidence in order to be able to get a warrant to be able to come on the property and do all the things that they're doing today," Moreau said.

Kimberly Moreau's father tells NEWS CENTER that the search is going on near the home of one of the men she was last seen with in 1986. He also says he has always suspected him in the case of his daughter's disappearance.

Hope they find something, this man has such a heavy burden on his shoulders and it has been there for such a long time.imo.
