Wow ok I guess im done trying to help investigate everything I said that got deleted by mods was public info on twitter. Good luck hope you help solve the case and I pray that someone does for April.

Oh and I am sorry I really messed up on one big part...it was instagram not twitter....

Going through an older article, found this information,

"as the investigation continues, Jennifer Millsap uses a landline to communicate, as police have confiscated all of the cell phones and computers from the home. It’s routine, but April’s boyfriend and their mutual friends have been interrogated and subjected to polygraph tests."

Thanks for the article. I had seen it reported that April's boyfriend had taken and passed the polygraph, but was unaware friends had been tested as well.

Looks like LE is trying to cover all bases.

I say stay and hang in there with us. Probably everyone of us has things deleted by mods at one time or another, I know I have. You input is needed.

Another similar incident where a young female was attacked or abducted and was able to alert others using her cellphone(except in this case it was voice and not text). This occurred maybe 2 hours by car from Armada.

I just read about this from MLive:

They found her car idling on a rural road shortly after she told a friend over the phone she was being followed by a man with a gun.

"The victim, Hayley Turner, was on the phone with a friend when she stopped at the intersection to investigate a person lying on the side of the road," sheriff's officials said in a statement Friday. "While still on the phone, the victim told her friend that an unknown male person had a gun and that he was following her.

Within minutes of this information, the victim's vehicle was found unoccupied and idling ... "

“He strangled her then hit her in the head to make sure she never wakes up,” Spitz said from his St. Clair Shores office. “He wanted to make sure he is never caught,”

I wonder if that is any indication that she knew or at least would recognize her attacker :( Her family has felt that since day one. I hope that is not true. If so it would make it more likely that the killer is right there within the community.

interesting comment from a local under the above linked story about having personally called in complaints in the past about the use motorized vehicles on the trail in the very area April was found. comment was made about 4 hrs ago by a poster whose username starts with R and is the name of a town in MI.

The interview was not with the ME who did the autopsy. I think it was with former coroner. So he was speculating and opining based on the autopsy results that have been released.

But there are ways to tell if injuries inflicted are done pre pr post mortem based on how the wound bleeds or doesn't and certain reactions of the body that differ between the two states. Those are evident upon autopsy.

Spitz refers to a "he". I guess he could know by the strength needed to choke and inflict the blow.

Daniel Spitz, Macomb County Medical Examiner who performed the autopsy is the son of well-known pathologist and former M.E., Dr. Werner Spitz. The senior Spitz' comments are not necessarily speculation as he was likely privy to the autopsy findings.

Werner Spitz, who is not connected to the case and did not view the autopsy, said a single blow to her head could not have caused both injuries, he said.

He said he knows of at least one other case in which a strangulation victim appeared to die but later woke up and identified his assailant.

SNIP

Spitz said he would had to have performed the autopsy to tell whether she was strangled by hands or a device, and whether her airpipe was blocked or blood flow to and from the brain was blocked. Strangulation with a rope or cord likely would have left a mark, he said.

The autopsy of April Millsap revealed she was killed with blunt force trauma – her neck compressed so violently it caused asphyxiation, Fox 2 reported. From the time the suspect started the assault, Millsap was dead just minutes later.

My guess is whomever did this knocked April down and stomped on her neck and hit her on the head with a log or rock. There had to be a great deal of anger involved.
