knoxy, those sure were interesting comments... :-(
I just got home from a baseball tournament with my son and was hoping to hear some good news...
Does anyone know if outside agencies are also involved? (re: outside the reservation?)
It is cool here tonight in Michigan.. I had to put on my sweatshirt around 9pm at the game.. And we have cold front moving in... It is supposed to warm up to around 80 tomorrow but the nights are now cool.
Praying he is found safe and sound!
Doesn't sound like the FBI is involved yet NurseMidland search and rescue, tribal police and the firefighters planned to continue the search until dark, and if the boy isn't found, they will restart it Saturday morning.

Knox, you would think it would be federal?
My concern is that the reservation is going to keep a tight lid on what is put out (re: info to the public almost to the point of looking like it is "secrecy")
That being said, someone alerted and asked about the facebook of the mom.. unless she has been named in the msm we cannot post that yet at this time...
Has she been named yet in the msm? Does anyone know?
nurse' afaik she has not been named in the media. Mom's name was added in msm comments only.
hth
No I don't believe so.
Nurse the Tribal spokesman seems to be talking to media and accepting help from outside agencies.
I grew up near to a Mohave Indian Reservation. If something went down in town and a tribe member went to the reservation, local LE could not pursue them. Tribal police had to be notified. I believe Indian land falls under federal jurisdiction, but I may be wrong.
This has me a little confused. Just to clarify... are you saying if someone lives off an Indian reservation but reports it to tribal police, local LE could not investigate?
I'm assuming Carnel's mom lives on a reservation which is why tribal police have jurisdiction, is that correct?
No, saying local LE (PD or SO) cannot pursue someone who has fled onto tribal property (reservation).
If a tribal member is in town and speeds or does another illegal maneuver in his vehicle, a city cop tries to pull him over but he flees onto the reservation. The cop cannot pursue him and a ticket or arrest him on tribal property. My BIL was a city cop ...
