After some admittedly quick digging, I don't know the person who the internet cites as the current resident...however I may have found their wedding registry page as well as possible Facebook page. If I am looking at the right Facebook page, I still don't know the person, however they have people on their friends list who are mutual friends with people on my friends list. I know that's likely to happen in such a small world, but there are a LOT of mutual friends of my friends. I feel sick to my stomach.

Could that maybe be because a lot of these people are about the same age and may have gone to high school together or something along those lines ?

Have you looked at her instagram? Look at the pictures from a few months ago that appear to have been taken in an exotic location. Read the comments. A woman is not going to travel outside of the country with, or travel outside of the country to see, someone who is just a friend.

You mean the Colorado one? I don't see where she traveled with him to another country...

Well, I just hope this doesn't turn out to be some person that Dani knew who may have ridden in her vehicle at one point or another, and the reason he's being looked at is because a print was lifted from inside her vehicle or something. If that's the case, it may turn out he had absolutely nothing to do with it.


I don't like the idea of having to start this process all over again from square one. This case needs some resolution.

It's approaching 12:00 locally. WDIV, WXYZ, Fox2 have noon news programs. I'm tuned to Channel 4 and hope for a live, on-scene update. Maybe we'll learn something new.

If this was a random crime, how would the perp know exactly where to park her car ? If this was someone who knew her, why risk being seen driving her car to an apartment complex where people knew her ? It just doesn't fit.

This is weird. I scoured Oxford last night looking for this house and 8-10 cars as described. Nothing.

These are all HS friends that I see on here. Maybe he went to high school with her and/or your sister?

somewhat off topic but related:

I saw a similar case on TV last night (hopefully not similar in outcome), Juli Busken. She went missing from her appartment. Near her apartment, she was forced into her own car, and the perpetrator assaulted and murdered her. After that, he returned the car to the apartment complex. After a little while Juli was found dead near a like. He tried to call a woman he was dating with Juli's phone, but he got one digit wrong and police wasn't able to track it. Eventually, he committed another crime and got caught because of DNA. Police don't really know why he returned the car. Maybe just because he needed transportation (he lived nearby).

I don't know. Anything is possible. I am itching to get home and look through my old yearbook to see if either name pops up. I don't think so as I feel like I would have at least one mutual friend directly with FG if that were the case, but you never know.

I don't know who "this guy" is.........................but any chance that Dani dated "this guy" in the recent past, however briefly ??

Wxyz Channel 7 is live and talked with neighbors showing now on local tv. Claim they've been focused on house "for some time" and been there a few times. Raided it at first and now there "just looking around" according to the person talking- was a male didn't catch his name.
They will release an update later today on the search.
