I'm more than a little surprised that Jordyn Weiber has not come forward to share any of her experiences in the Nassar case. Jordyn grew up in DeWitt, Michigan - Greater Lansing area. She trained with many of the young women who have come forward to condemn Dr. Nassar and was part of the same Olympic team as some of the victims. I would be interested in hearing whether or not she was treated by Dr. Nassar and was a victim of sexual abuse like her training partners/teammates.

Weiber said in October:

“Although I personally have not suffered any physical assault or sexual abuse while competing as a gymnast, my heart goes out to McKayla and the victims like her who have endured this abuse of power,” Jordyn Wieber said in a statement. “We need to speak out and stand up for change. I am so proud of McKayla for sharing her story and inspiring others to do so.

In December:

"It does make me upset abuse that goes on," Wieber said. "It's really hard to hear knowing what some of my own friends and teammates went through that. I just want to support them and be there for them."

"Now that it's all out in the open, there can be a lot of positive change in our sport because it is one of the greatest sports in the world, in my opinion."

Simone Biles says she was molested by gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar

Simone Biles, the golden girl of the 2016 Olympics, added her name Monday to the list of gymnasts who say they were molested by team doctor Larry Nassar.

The revelation came in a long statement on her social media accounts — one day before a weeklong sentencing hearing where Nassar will hear from nearly 100 victims.

"Most of you know me as a happy, giggly and energetic girl. But lately...I've felt a bit broken and the more I try to shut off the voice in my head the louder it screams," Biles wrote in a #metoo post...

Victims to speak as Nassar sentencing hearing begins

For years, they’ve stayed silent.

But starting Tuesday, dozens of young women will break their silence and tell a judge how their lives have been impacted by the sexual abuse inflicted on them by Larry Nassar.

The hearing in Ingham County Circuit Court is expected to last four days and include stories from nearly 100 women. When it’s over, Judge Rosemarie Aquilina will hand a sentence to Nassar — the infamous Michigan State University and USA Gymnastics doctor who abused girls and young women under the guise of a medical treatment...

These are powerful victim statements from those he abused.

Such a wonderful judge who is giving accolades to the young speakers and the parents who are coming out. I had no idea of specifics of this case and am just so very shocked to my core.

Sex-abuse victims face gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar at sentencing
by Tracy Connor

A marathon sentencing hearing for gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar got off to a searing start Tuesday when a young woman who was molested by him as a child described how it tore her family apart and helped drive her father to suicide.

Kyle Stephens was the first of nearly 100 girls and women who are expected to give statements against Nassar, the former team doctor for USA Gymnastics and a physician at Michigan State University.

In recent months, Olympic gold medalists including Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas and McKayla Maroney have gone public with accusations against Nassar. Most of the women testifying in a Michigan courtroom are not well known, but their stories are horrifyingly familiar.

Standing tall at a podium while Nassar buried his forehead in his hand in the witness box, Stephens described how he repeatedly assaulted her in his basement for years: masturbating with lotion in front of her, rubbing her foot on his genitals and violating her with his fingers...

I've watched/listened to almost all of the victim impact statements. My thoughts and prayers are with every one of them and their loved ones. This can't be easy for any of the young women, but I truly admire their strength and courage in facing the man who betrayed their youthful trust.

The Judge is magnificent! She listens carefully to what each young woman has said (or read) and responds to each and every one of them with compassion and respect.

Chrissy Teigen Offers to pay McKayla Maroney's $100,000 Fine to Speak Out Against Larry Nassar

In December 2016, Maroney sued U.S. Gymnastics team doctor, Larry Nasser, and received a settlement of $1.2 million. As part of the agreement, Maroney signed a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), forcing her to keep quiet about her abuse. So on Tuesday, as more than 140 people come forward to depict stories of Nassar’s sexual abuse, Maroney could not testify without facing a $100,000 fine.

In response to Biles’ statement, USA Gymnastics pledged "unwavering" support for Biles.

"USA Gymnastics is absolutely heartbroken, sorry and angry that Simone Biles or any of our athletes have been harmed by the horrific acts of Larry Nassar," the group told CNN on Tuesday. "We are our athletes' advocates. USA Gymnastics will continue to listen to our athletes and our members in our efforts of creating a culture of empowerment with a relentless focus on athlete safety every single day."

Sentencing hearing begins for convicted sexual predator Larry Nassar

Larry Nassar leaned his forehead against his folded hands covering his eyes, unable to look at the woman speaking in front of him in a Michigan courtroom Tuesday morning. He was less than an hour into a four-day sentencing hearing for criminal sexual conduct.

The woman in front of him was Donna Markham. She was speaking to the court and to the disgraced former doctor and convicted serial sexual predator on behalf of her daughter, who she said "could not join us today," she said. Chelsea Markham died by suicide at age 23 in 2009.

"It all started with him," Markham told the court. "It all started with him."

Do you folks want me to post tweets

Something that I learned today while listening to and/or watching almost all of the victims' statements today was that not everyone Nassar treated was a gymnast. While he is primarily associated with women's gymnastics, Larry Nassar also treated athletes involved in figure skating, soccer, and volleyball from elementary school age girls through college students who participated on various athletic teams at Michigan State University. It was sickening to listen to the courageous, articulate, intelligent young women tell their individual stories about how this allegedly highly-qualified, much-praised, trusted physician manipulated these girls into believing that his treatment was unparalleled and that he wanted to help them. :stormingmad:

Larry Nassar and Jerry Sandusky have a lot in common.

They are predatory and controlling as they are narcissistic and deviant. They are psychopaths.

I would not consider Nassar and Sandusky injustice collectors. That is more for the likes of Stephen Paddock, Devin Kelley, Omar Mateen, Adam Lanza, Seung-Hui Cho, Osama bin Laden, Lori Drew, or Jodi Arias. Granted, they do share common characteristics with each other.
