Texts toward the end of November 2017 IMO show escalation in their fury at Gabby. She was also defecating in and out of her diaper. Potty issues. On the 28th the dog also got sick and was leaving diarrhea all over the house. They were now arguing with each other too. A month later Gabby would be dead.
Short recess. O/T I'm originally from Michigan and it's a hoot listening to the accents of the judge and court people. Think Chicago but a little softer.
Back. Hundreds and hundreds of texts over just a few hours. BTW, all of this went on while Diaz was at work as a motel or hotel housekeeper (I think). Fields complained about the neighbors who called him out over his constant screaming at Gabby. If they only had known. The good news is that those texts are going to sink these sorry [censored].
The next day continues with more texts about Gabby. Apparently she may have been ill which caused her bowel problems. Diaz now says she's feeling better so no more excuses. Fields claimed that Gabby spit on him and attempted to smear feces on him.
MOO but I think he was lying in at least some of those texts. I think he enjoyed getting Diaz angrier and angrier and so he fabricated or at least exaggerated his descriptions. It's only Fields' texts that paint the picture of Gabby as an out of control, nasty, poop-flinging child. The videos of her in her bedroom are disturbing (really disturbing) but in the ones I've seen so far she's quiet; no screaming, no pounding , no throwing.
They keep referring to "cold bath." I think it's relevant because it seemed to be the norm - Gabby would ask for a cool/cold bath after an accident. IMO it was no fluke that in the end she was tortured in scalding water. I'd like to hear a forensic psychologist's take on it.
On December 5, 2017 Gabby was vomiting. He was complaining to Diaz about their relationship. Gabby defecated in her underwear. So she was alternately in diapers and underpants.
He sent a video to Diaz. Gabby's sitting on her bed looking at sheets of paper (her coloring perhaps?). She repetitively shuffles the papers and taps them on a small lap desk - over and over. Then she stands up on her bed and like a statue stares down at - a plastic garbage bag? - until the end of the video. She appears to wearing a pullup.
The next video is short. She's on her bed. She holds her hands up in the air the whole time. The texts continue with Fields describing Gabby's wild and mean behavior. IMO things aren't matching up.
OMG! That bag on Gabby's bed may be a punishment tool. Diaz just talked/asked about putting her "in the bag."
December 23, 2017. Fields texts Diaz to say Gabby is hot/feverish. He sends a still pic of (a naked Gabby? I can't tell) standing on her bed. Video follows. I can't tell if it's the one I saw earlier or a different one. She's making the same motions as before and seems to be quietly whining and groaning.
She's talking to herself and I hear "Wanna go peepee" over and over. I can't make out what else she's saying. The audio is quiet and I have workman pounding outside but I think what she's saying is somehow very important. If it's posted on YouTube it might be easier to catch.
Court adjourned for the day. Thank goodness. I only watched parts but it's really hard. Poor, poor little Gabby. I hate Fields and Diaz and while I won't say here what I want to happen with them I bet y'all know exactly what I'm thinking.
