Not sure where Mr. Page would've been for the seven years before this, but, stranger things have happened... Take a look here; http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/649umms.html and here; http://www.theyaremissed.org/ncma/gallery/ncmaprofile_all.php?U200500007S
This fella's side view & eyebrows are what made me think it could be him, especially since this man stated his name was Steven Hicks (or Hex)and that couldn't have been his name, especially since nobody has reported a Steven Hicks missing since 1998..... Could be Mr. Page admired someone by that name.
Just a thought, needed to run it by ya'll, may be that it's already been checked out, if so,I would like to know!
BTW, Are we still allowed to sign the petition? Coz I will...

Jeremiah 29:11-14

According to vitals, Gordon Page Jr. was born in 1963. The UID from the link above was hit by a drunk driver in 1998 (died as a result of accident in 2002), which if it was him would put his age at around 35 (at time of accident). The estimated age of UID is from 22-28 yrs. Another aspect that makes the match unlikely is that Gordon was severely autistic.

This is a really sad case. It's been on Unsolved Mysteries many times. His father had a webpage for him up until recently. It is a broken link now. His father stated on the page that he was positive a female manager at a gym/fitness center in California spotted him numerous times years after he vanished. He detailed the whole story on the page and said the woman was 100% positive it was Gordon. I hope he is still alive. If he is, it's likely he may be in some sort of institution but may not be able to communicate to to his severe autism.

I pray they find out what happened to him. This is very sad.

Looking at the face shots, they look rather similar but the pictures of Gordon's profile and the drawings of the UID's profile on doenetwork don't look the same, especially in the chin area. Hard to tell about the forehead w. Gordon's haircut but the UID has a more prominent chin, IMO. I suppose fractures in the accident might change the facial structure somewhat though, I know someone who broke her jaw and came back from the hospital looking somehow more wide-jawed.

If anyone reading this is interested, I have created a Facebook page for Gordie. I have become so attached to him through the years, and I would LOVE it if we could find out what happened to him. Please visit the site and let me know if you have any questions.

bumping just saw his story on unsolved rerun today on lifetime there was not much more info and nothing new was added into his story does anyone have any other links to like his page his parents set up or is that no longer around any info on the gym discovery in ca? what part of california was he seen at ? why havent le followed up on that lead and checked out hospitals in the area. what about the guy who was hit and later died and said his last name was hex or hicks

there was a hicks who was killed by jeffery dhalmer and there was an arron hicks who was a baseball player

not sure if anyone is still reading or following this case hopefully someone sees my posts. In my previous posts I wrote i saw the rerun this was the dennis farnia version. Today i pulled up the original version on youtube with robert stack and it gave a little more details into how gordie was diagnosed and just a few more more tidbits nothing really in terms of what happened after he vanished. something came to me when the episode was done.

if in fact he did hitchhike like the fireman said he saw him trying to do then why after all these years has the person not come forward, said hey i picked up gordon at this area and location at approximately this time on this day and dropped him out at this location area at this time

my thought is if someone did pick him up they were not of the truthful and decent kind and could have harmed him in some way.

or the person who picked him up didn't realize that he had gordon in his car all those years ago or the person is no longer alive and thus we would have know way of knowing

[h=1]Police seek help on four missing persons cases dating back to 1991[/h]
Page has been missing for almost 26 years, according to Sgt. Bryan Muir from the Kent County Sheriff's Department. Page reportedly walked away from a group home in Cascade Township. He is described as being a quiet, high-functioning autistic man.
"Gordan mentioned he wanted to live with his dad, who was from outside the area," Muir said. "His dad dropped him off at the group home facility and was never seen or heard from again."
At the time Page went missing, he was 28 years old, meaning he would be in his mid-50s today. At the time he went missing, Page was six feet three inches tall, an average weight with blue eyes and reddish brown hair. Page is reported to have a difficult time communicating, but has the skills to function in society on a limited basis.
