I dont believe she left on her own. she may have been forced out. who leaves without their stuff. especially a coat! i believe they did something to her. for 1 shes from arkansas. came to detroit from college in texas to visit that girl. why would she leave and she dont know her way around Detroit. and why would that girl let her leave knowing she dont know her way then a few weeks later shes pops up with a new girlfriend.... hmmm

Let’s play the devils advocate and say that Jasmine left just as the mother and daughter described it. I agree, it seems unlikely but let us just give it a try.

- did she know anyone else in the area that she could have gone to? I know she didn’t have her phone or tablet with her so who could she have contacted? And how?

-the area did not have a very good reputation, who could she accidentally bumped into on the street? A person or persons who took advantage of her.

Do we have any solid suggestions for people in either of the two categories? Can we get more information from SM?

Any ideas?

SM?

and its possible she could of bumped into the wrong person. again she left without her phone and tablet. Questions i want to ask:

How did she meet brittany in the first place?

how did it become a long distance relationship?

have jasmine visited detroit on vacation with family before meeting brittany?

why brittany so hostile?

brittany know something. did anyone see that video of brittany family and jasmine family on instagram? how did you all feel about brittany behavior?

Stumbled upon this case, decided to read up and adding links.

Most recent interview I've seen with the parents (2018): Three years later, still no leads in case of 19-year-old missing college student Jasmine Moody

Jasmine's Charley Page: Jasmine Sherea Moody – The Charley Project

There is also a possible match on NAMus: Skeletal remains of a black female, approx. 16 minutes away from the Baldwin/Mack area, within the approx. height of Jasmine, but wearing an entirely different outfit. With that notation, I don't feel comfortable adding it to this post. But, have a look if you're curious.

Additionally, if we're going to state an opinion, I'm having a very difficult time believing an 'online fued' warranted a murder. I'm having an easier time believing that she did leave the home and something unfortunate happened to her. But again, IMO.

I had no idea this case was on WS. I met Jasmine the summer before she went missing, we had a friend in common and we all lived in the same neighborhood in Texas. I check Google occasionally to see if she's ever been found. There was hardly any mention of her being missing here. Like a lot of you, I think her girlfriend has something to do with it.

Jasmine still is always on my mind. Today checking Namus I found a UID that sounds close. https://www.namus.gov/UnidentifiedPersons/Case#/57061?nav
For comparison this is her Namus page: The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

Jasmine went missing 12/4/2014. The UID remains were not found until May 2019 and still had soft tissue (hate even typing that). I suppose that it's possible that the basement of the abandoned home remained cool enough, but I suspect it's unlikely. Michigan has some hot summers and even basements can get warm. You can always email the Regional Program Specialist or call the local LE office using info provided in NamUs.

Justice for Jasmine!

She was visiting another woman, Brittany Gurley, who lives in Detroit.

"She met a young lady name Brittany Gurley," said Malik Shabazz. "They fell in love."

But something went wrong. During her visit, on Dec. 4, 2014, the two women got into an argument.

Brittany and her family told police Jasmine put on a hoodie and walked out of the house and has not been seen since.

Nearly a decade later, the search continues for Jasmine. On Friday, that led activists to Brittany’s family home, where Brittany's sister answered the door.

"We all cared about her. She walked out of this damn house and wasn’t seen again and now this is what we’re dealing with," Brittney's sister, Dajiona Gurley, said.

Shabazz wants answers but the family says they don't know where she is.

The Gurley Family says they called police when Jasmine went missing and now Brittany, who doesn't live in the home, is being harassed.

"Someone randomly pulled up on her, and put a gun in her stomach and told her we should take you and your babies life like you did Jasmine," her mom, Sonia Gurley said.

"I get tired of this they treating us like we’re *advertiser censored***** criminals we didn’t do nothing to that girl," Dajiona said.
