Very sad what happened to Jessica's and her little family. Horrific what Dakotah Quail Dyer has gone through this entire ordeal. People owe him some apologies. Praying for her son and his father. Praying they will be whole again. Injustices all the way around!

There's no way he doesn't have other victims. Is he being investigated for those prostitute murders that occurred in and around Grand Rapids?

A Muskegon County sheriff’s detective watched Willis at the Meijer store on Harvey Street on May 11 — six days before his arrest.

Police say Willis sat in his silver minivan for about 15 minutes before driving up and down aisles in the parking lot — slowly.

“I can only speculate as to what he was doing there and why he was there, but certainly law enforcement was there watching him and, had he tried to do anything, he would have been stopped almost immediately,” Hilson said.

MUSKEGON COUNTY, MI – A five-page list of "serial killers of the U.S." along with three pages of women's names and telephone numbers tucked together in a bag were among items seized from accused murderer and kidnapper Jeffrey Willis' home, according to search warrant documents.

The lists along with handwritten addresses and vehicle information were in a canvas bag tucked in a shed attic roof when law enforcement officials searched Willis' home the day of his arrest May 17, according to the documents.

Also found in the shed, tucked in a roof overhang was a plastic Ziploc bag with unknown colored clothing wrapped in tin foil.

Thank you for all your updates. I'd imagine the clothing must be from victims and he has wrapped it in tin foil in the zip lock bag to help ensure the smell etc of the victim is kept fresh so he can relive his attacks. I can't think of any other reason he would do this.

You're very welcome. I did check earlier today to see if there was any 'new' news but didn't see anything so thank you for posting todays update. :)

Totally weird about the clothing wrapped in tin foil. You could very well be right as to the reason why.

It looks as though he might be back in court on Friday.

"All the felony charges against Willis are heading to trial. A court hearing Friday, July 15, is the first step in scheduling what's expected to be a lengthy trial."

Hopefully with DNA preserved.

This guy just gets creepier and creepier. I know the article mentioned 'tin' foil, but if the reporting was inaccurate the foil may have been Mylar instead? Which, when vacuum-sealed will hide scents (from dogs for example) better than plastic, which is porous.

If that's the case, JW did a great deal of research to 'foil' searchers. Sorry about the bad pun; it's late ...
