What ever happened with that van with no license plate that someone saw in an apartment complex parking lot? Did it end up matching the van description? If so, has it moved since that time? I am trying to find the post in the other thread right now.

I thought it was a nearby company's van. So I just put it to the back of my mind. However someone said the temp tag was taken off.

I haven't reported him to Facebook because I don't have his fb address.

So after reading WS administrators posts it appears we can post links to known RSOs in the area. I went to Family Watchdog site and scoured through every RSO with a picture within 7 miles of Norton Shores that have some facial and size resemblence that the eyewitness reported. Some are not as heavy as reported but I know first hand that eyewitness sightings can be way off in estimating height and weight. This is a long shot but am including so others can comment. We don't even know if the person responsible for the abduction is an RSO but I would think the odds are pretty good he is. Another factor is he could live farther than 7 miles away and it's not realistic to scour every person in the state of MI. Also some of these may be incarcerated.

In my opinion, LLL and DWG are closest resemblence to sketch. If the Police Chief says the sketch is a dead ringer for the POI then it eliminates many I've listed.

It's possible the perp may have altered his appearance by now, possibly cutting his hair short, buzzing it, and/or darkening it. Maybe he's growing some facial hair.

*as I mentioned before, this is what FBI profilers said about a suspect in another case, that he may have changed his appearance and not shown up to work on Monday.

So, I think people need to pay attention to someone who may have suddenly altered their appearance, bought hair color, etc...

I know that certain types of industries use different types of vehicles; I wonder if there is a specific company or type of industry that uses or has purchased this type of van...

looks like i followed the wrong one. i wish it was he right one & she was really able to come and follow me!

I saw that/a pinterest account too. Someone told me there's another JH in MI and I noticed that person seems to be at a different education/career level in life. Still, it's hard to tell 100 percent. When I googled JH's name early on, a polished picture of JH came up linked to pinterest. The profile pic had been changed to a little boy (this JH has one) but still, no way to tell who's who. If it were me, I'd use a nickname or middle name too (if I was aware there were two of us in the same region with exactly the same name).

But, how does it work that she'd be following you? Could it be the other one or some kind of a hoax. Does it seems strange or can you verify who the person is? She should add an initial or something due to this case coming to light. :twocents:

The Piano Factory is NOT a factory. It is a touristy mall-type building that was once a piano factory. There is a restaurant in it that one brother lists as his former place of employment on FB, while the SOR lists the same address by suite number as employer for the other brother.
The body of water around the Piano Factory is not an option. The Grand Haven boardwalk is the most populated place around during decent weather. There is no way someone could pull off something like disposing of a body this time of the year. Trust me on that.

Also, the mods instructed us not to mention family members who are not sex offenders. Be careful so you don't get a time out. I agree that this family is a treasure trove of disfunction, but we can only talk about the sex offenders among them.

My sister just called and told me that everyone is now onto LLL and posting his pic and personal info all over message boards and social medial. If he didn't do this, he is about to get slammed for no reason. If he did, then I say bring on the pressure. But I wish everyone would stop and think of what they would feel like if they were wrongly accused of kidnapping and possible murder all over social media. First the idiots in this town were ready to burn the Exxon owner at the stake even though he was cleared as a POI by LE. I hate to see what they will do with this info.

Go look at LLL's girlfriend's FB - there are some recent pics from a party or something, it looks like LL (?) has a scratch on his face, or maybe it's just light/shadows, which is more likely.

There may be only a 50/50 chance, or less, that a RSO is even the perp, especially as it seems this person may be known to Jessica in some way. I believe the nearby RSO's would have already been investigated. My guess is this is someone who has either never offended in such a way or never been caught.

It's a good possibility that it's someone completely unknown to LE.

I imagine it's a lengthy process going through the databases of registered owners of silver/gray minivans (Chrysler T&C?) given how popular that vehicle is. Also assuming this perp is the registered owner.

DWG stood out to me over the weekend even before the sketch was released.

If this is true and it is the same guy that came back two hours later, it was not a crime of opportunity, IMO. He was stalking her, and he had been for some time. He probably either built up enough 'courage' to finally do it, or the compulsion from his earlier interaction with her was too strong and he succumbed to it.

It is important to note how matter-of-factly this witness described J's and the suspect's interactions - almost like it appeared to be normal-esque "wooing". If this is what he noticed, I'm inclined to believe that the POI is within the age range that would have been considered 'normal' for such an exchange. If he was an older man, it would have registered as unusual. As a reult, LLL is very much on my radar.
