Bumping for Jessica I still pray every day for justice and that she will be returned to her family.

Jeffrey Willis the suspect in Jessica's murder is going on trial in June for the murder of Rebekah Bletsch.

I so wish there could be a break in finding Jessica for her families sake it is nearly the four year anniversary of her disappearance and likely murder. I wish Willis would talk.

It is 4 years today since Jessica was taken. Jessica and her loved ones continue to be in my prayers.

"NORTON SHORES, Mich. (WOOD) — Wednesday marks a somber anniversary for one of West Michigan’s most high profile missing person cases: the disappearance of Jessica Heeringa.

Even though Jeffrey Willis is in jail and charged with kidnapping and murdering Heeringa, many questions remain. Investigators say Jessica was murdered, but they haven’t found her body."

The photo of Jessica's son at the link is heartbreaking I'm so sorry he had so little time with his mum it's tragic.

From above:

"Willis gets 3 separate trials for alleged murders, abduction

MUSKEGON, MI - A Muskegon judge ruled Friday that*Jeffrey Thomas Willis*will have separate trials for allegedly murdering Jessica Heeringa, Rebekah Bletsch and abducting a 16-year-old girl."

Snip

"At the Friday afternoon hearing, Marietti also agreed to reschedule *advertiser censored*June Willis trial*for the Bletsch case. The Bletsch case which is in line to be first of the three cases to be tried."

"Willis also faces charges of murder and kidnapping in the case of Jessica Heeringa's April 2013 disappearance, and a separate charge of kidnapping in the case of the 16-year-old girl who said she was abducted at gunpoint in April 2016. He also faces three lesser charges related to child *advertiser censored* and videotaping unclothed persons without consent."

The child *advertiser censored* charges has me thinking about unknown prior child victims.

What a shame, if he has been caught when he kidnapped and murdered Jessica, there wouldn't have been any other victims.

Things like videotaping unclothed persons without consent need to be taken more seriously. I've lost track of how many serial killers I've read about who started out as voyeurs.

A convicted peeping Tom named Christopher Filipek was paroled in Michigan in January. I hope LE keeps a very close eye on him or 10 years from now we'll be having another discussion just like this one.

Yep. Totally gross and not at all harmless! These sickos just get a slap on the wrist and sent on their way ... free to escalate. Derrick Todd Lee was one of them.

Bumping for Jessica you haven't been forgotten and we still care you are found.

Court dismisses Willis' request to dismiss charges
WZZM-TV • Sep 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM

LANSING — The Michigan Supreme Court has declined to hear an appeal made by accused killer Jeffrey Willis to dismiss the murder charges against him.

In a ruling released Wednesday, the court said, "On order of the Court, the application for leave to appeal the June 2, 2017, order of the Court of Appeals is considered, and it is denied because we are not persuaded that the questions presented should be reviewed by this Court."

Willis had requested murder charges against him be dropped after guards at the Muskegon County jail seized his personal note. The high court decision upholds a lower court ruling that the notes can be used in his murder trial involving Rebekah Bletsch.

I am so please the Michigan Supreme Court made the right decision.

Jessica's mum still does not believe he killed Jessica and thinks that he is being set up. I disagree with this but I totally understand Jessica's mums willingness to believe she is still alive I want this too. I'm glad Jessica's son is doing well considering his terrible loss.
