How sad. You'd think after losing Jozlynn, she'd straighten up her life and try to make things better for her and her son.

Maybe he's better off this way.
 
Apparently it wasn't official in February.

On Thursday, a Grand Rapids judge ruled that Connie Martinez would lose custody of her now two-year-old son.

Bryan Malmberg will remain in the foster care system and will be put up for adoption through Bethany Christian Services.

Slain girl's mom: Keep him behind bars

The mother of a little girl who was killed and then thrown in the trash said she hopes that the man convicted of the crime won't go free.

Panel rejects appeal in Jozlynn Martinez murder

A three-judge panel of the Michigan Court of Appeals has rejected an effort by Jeffrey Malmberg to appeal his conviction in the 2010 murder of two-year-old Jozlynn Martinez.

State records show Malmberg is a prisoner at the Macomb Correctional Facility, and that his earliest possible release is in February of 2040.

Jozlynn isn't the first person who's body was most likely incinerated at a waste-to-energy plant. Back in 2002, two-month-old A'Shia Jenkins was also throwed away like garbage after her father accidentally smothered her while she was crying. A'Shia's body was most likely incinerated at a waste-to-energy plant by the time they began looking for her body. As a poster mentioned a few pages back, it would be great if they had some type of X-ray machine to detect any bodies before trash is incinerated at these waste-to-energy plants. JMO and :twocents:
