That comment is so strange, many of her comments have been strange to me though. I don't know how a mother can wish for it all to be over knowing what "over" means in this case. Was she thinking about all of the criticism that has been thrown her way, when she made that statement ? There is something very wrong with this woman.

Bio Dad's comment was I am holding out hope that it isn't her body. It is the only thing left to hope for.

As nomoresorry has posted, theres that one guy todd who lives real close within 2 miles I believe to the area where she was found, and then there is at least 10 or so really close to her apartment, I really really hope le is looking into the alibis for the other so's.

If we assume that Nevaeh disappeared earlier than what was reported, we can go back as early as about 3:30 when the upstairs neighbor said she left his apartment. Whether or not Jennifer and Nevaeh actually went to KMart after that seems to be unproven at this point. We would also have to assume that no one saw Nevaeh after 3:30 and that the story of a child telling on her for riding in the street either happened earlier or not at all. That leaves the time from 3:30 to 7:15 for George to snatch Nevaeh, harm or kill her, and bury the body. Two witnesses who took polygraphs give him an alibi from 4 to 7. Apparently he also has an alibi (people he drove, getting gas, etc.) after 7.

In order for him to be the perp, George, Savannah, Savannah's mother (I'm assuming), and Jennifer would all have to be lying and be able to fool a lie detector test. I'm not buying it.

I agree, and it's beginning to look less likely that he's the perp. But that still doesn't mean it's a total stranger or a random crime either. MOO

IIRC hasn't LE stated in interviews of late specifically that the perp is still "out there"? Why would they alarm a community needlessly if they knew they had the perp already behind bars? Just a thought.

K-Mart has surveillance cameras - where is the footage of Nevaeh and JB???? LE should provide that much to help jog people's memory - IF they have such footage. My bet is...they don't have it.

I'd think that would be one of the first things LE would look at. For that matter, most stores (especially convenience stores) also have videotape. So if JB & Nevaeh went anywhere it should be easily confirmed. MOO

Those concrete bags tear open pretty easily. If I were the perp, I wouldn't risk rolling it town the hill. A sharp rock or stick could rip it open.

And although it's been stated it was a 90 lb. bag, was it full or not? That would make a big difference also. MOO

I can't believe there are so many SO's in that area. I would think LE would be busy investigating all of them, unless they know who the perp is already, and are not releasing information. On a slightly different topic, I feel like the Family Watchdog site should be advertised way more than it is. I get the feeling that many parents may not even know of it's existence.

There have been several references noting an interest in seeing cell phone records. Do we know how many of these POI's have cell phones? It seems the money wasn't exactly flowing freely in this group.

EXACTLY!!! Where is the video of who was in the store that purchased the Busch beer that was found in the grave with Nevaeh??? EVERY store should have a quality video surveillance system by now....no excuses!!!

I did not see the article that said that busch beer was found in the grave??? can anyone find that for me? and also it could have possibly been on the ground there left by fisherman I suppose but Im sure they will get the dna evidence off the beer can anyway...

It's possible JB has other less than savory friends. From what I've seen of the apartment complex residents, the complex seems to be home to many undereducated, lower income people who might be the type to attract undesirable characters. I hope that doesn't offend anyone, it's just an observation, not a judgment.

It may be totally unrelated. It could have been lying on the ground and the perp kicked it into the grave with his foot. The DNA on it might belong to some fisherman who had absolutely nothing to do with the crime.

Beer drinkers are pretty loyal to their brands. I wonder if George drinks Busch beer.

Great information. This has me curious, LE has openly stated that they have looked at three SO's in the area, but have not said anything about looking at any others. This is what makes me think they have not totally ruled out the two SO's in custody, there has been no talk of other suspects being questioned. Or maybe they are just keeping things quiet ?

Usually when a child is abducted and murdered everybody wants every last SO's head on a platter but in this case, it appears that everyone is satisfied that LE has the right guy(s)and therefore there isn't any need for LE, in this case, to assure the public that they've questioned and verified the whereabouts of any other SO's in the community. I'm not convinced that GK, RS, and JE are innocent of this - but just in case it turns out that they really do have alibi's, it's wise to look at other possible perps - IMO anyhow.

You make an excellent point and one that has been echoed by some very seasoned members of WS here on this thread as well.

I would like to add my own "not so seasoned" opinion and say while we are looking at RSO's we need to keep in mind that the perp might be just a SO that has never been caught before too. So he would be completely off the radar.

There is another thing that has been rolling inthe back of my brain about Nevaeh's scooter. If she was riding her scooter when lured by whoever took her, as a child, wouldn't she just lay it on the ground and go towards him? I find it odd the scooter was propped up against a bldg as I don't think a 5 yr old would do that.

I also find it odd that who ever took her didn't take the scooter too. Maybe not, as then he's have to dispose of it as well, although at that point he might not have planned for her to end up dead!

These two thoughts may mean nothing, just throwing them out.

The FBI "proved" that the Busch beer can came from the local market....serial numbers??? Whatever - WHY would the beer can be buried, unless the was drinking it during the grave digging and just tossed it in??? Stupid azz hole - he/she is going down!!!!! The perp deserves the harshest of punishments....

I'm thinking the time has come for a forum for Nevaeh. We're starting to need separate threads for various people involved, evidence items, autopsy report, photos, timelines, media links, maps, etc.
Not to mention, I assume at some point there will be an arrest and trial.

Except that many places tape over after a certain number of days, so that might not still be around ~ but the night Nevaeh was reported missing would definitely be there to check out at the time JB said they went someplace shopping ~ if it's true. MOO
