Hi :wave: Yes, unfortunately I (personally) do think there is enough reasonable doubt, especially when reading what you've quoted. Mind you, the closing statements aren't evidence but still, when you hear it like the jurors do, they are left with those thoughts.

Surely Hilson's seen pure evil before....during his career I mean! He's saying Willis has no problem lying, but you know, pretty sure he's seen pure evil before Willis.. :doh: How many cases has he been involved in during his career? :thinking:

I think Circuit Judge William Marietti gave some of the best oral jury instructions I have heard. He was clear about weighing the truthfulness and testimony of the witnesses, the role of the opening and closing statements, how the jury is to begin -- from the perspective of innocence and then careful weighing of evidence. Impressive.
