So this murderer just left Rebekah's 3 year old son in her home alone after he mudered her???? GRRR

She was murdered between 2 and 4 a.m.

I thought somene said they saw her yesterday am at 6:50

he dropped her son off with the ex husband...he got him dressed and took care of him...the little boy really liked this 55 yo man....oh Dear God

was the suspect cooperative this was resolved so quickly

initially no he was not cooperative.

suspect was fantasizing about Rebekah. he was an acquaintance, she did not have a relationship with him. He lives near her.

finally early this morning got him to speak about the crime

(they got search warrants for his house and her house early on and found evidence in both places)

motive: suspect over the course of last few weeks was fantasizing???? about her (not sure if I heard that right)

suspect moved her vehicle to the barn door

no one lived with her but her son

thinks suspect has had some sort of contact with LE over the years

he put her in a ditch behind tall pine trees

they got the location from the suspect

they also did an area search last night with k9 handler but didn't find her until today

the suspect took care of the son... it was the day the father was to get him and the suspect dressed the son and brought the son to the father at meijer

the suspect lives in same mhp as Rebekah.. several doors down

How sad for Rebekah's family and friends. Thoughts and prayers are with them. Good LE work lead to comprehensive investigation and prompt arrest.

No word yet on how or why this 55-year-old man was in her trailer at 2 a.m. Maybe something was wrong with her heater. Maybe he forced his way in. He lived "several doors down" from her. I think we all saw this being a neighbor or a boyfriend.

he went into her trailer thru unlocked door and drug her into the kitchen

after it was over he went back and cleaned up her house (tried to)



omg.. he put the little boy in his halloween costume before he took him to his father.
