What if the call was before the um, cough, cough, disappearance? She gets drunk, gets it in her head that JI is cheating. Finds a phone number, maybe in a desk drawer from forever ago, or maybe she found a phone number on the phone a long time ago and tried to dial it by drunken memory. Ends up calling the phone to see who answers. It's a woman, she sound young, and DB decides to take away something of Jeremy's (Lisa) to make him hurt, since now her drunken mind has convinced her that JI is cheating. Cutting off her nose to spite her face, so to speak. There have been a couple other cases where one parent did that just to hurt the other as bad as they could.

Of course, if she were that drunk, then how did she pull off murder, disposal, and cover up well enough to keep herself out of jail for nearly a month now? (See, I even second guess myself.)

BBM

I was just going to go there. At that point you start running into time issues. Wasn't the call made at 2:38am? If she really was as drunk as she says, she couldn't do this by herself.

Here's the thing though, if DB was the one who actually made the call, knows she made a call that night, then purposely tells LE you can't make calls on the phones, don't you find that odd? Not saying it's not possible, but why lie about not having service if that's the case? If anything you can deny you made the call since they were 'stolen'.
IDK, there's plenty of people who say DB's just totally clueless an naïve, so maybe she thought tossing the phones out meant LE had no way of knowing they'd been used at all.

I hold no current position either way, just throwing that out.

Maybe DB hit redial while programming the phones, and this was the number last called by JI?
JMHO

Thinking out loud here................

Wasn't one of the stolen phones donated by "grandpa"? What if it was THAT phone that called MW? Does she know him? IDK if the donated phone was even working - but just a thought I had.

JMHO

Yes, I found it very interesting that the first time JI takes an evening job, doesn't return at 10 pm like he's supposed to and doesn't call (because the phones are not working), DB simply goes on to bed at 10:30 without worrying about it. I call BS on that. She was very, very likely looking for him. And mad. Yet, she just blows it off that he didn't come home at all.

I do not believe that evening was anything like DB says it was. Her official story is complete fantasy, IMO. All of it.

If the phones had service there should imo be a record of her trying to call his work cell phone.

What if her dads phone had service? Half truth? moo

Again, if this was 'planned' as some theorize and the cell phones are made to look like they were stolen, why lie about service to begin with on any of the phones? The whole point of making the phones look 'stolen' is to come up with the notion 'well, the intruder stole the phones and made a call'.

This is sort of coming together for me. With Jersey originally living with this girlfriend a few houses down from the Irwin's home per his court dockets, (their landlord who was in the news had orange hair didn't he in the one video?), JT having a friend he'd visit per the older woman who dropped him off across the street from the Irwins home, the phone call to the girlfriend's phone....now what happened DB to Lisa that night? hmmm

How would Deborah even know her number? Why call her in the middle of killing her baby and hiding the remains, to find out if she's having an affair with Jeremy?

Maybe she was going through some pants pockets.:innocent:

Bingo! I think you are right. Dad gives her his phone because: A) She broke her's and B) Their service was restricted. JI had a work phone.

So that night, she is drinking her wine, deleting dad's old numbers and taking the numbers from her or JI's phone and programming them into dad's phone. It's very possible that DB messed up on one or more of the contact numbers due to being buzzed.

I feel very certain they would know if that phone number had ever been called before by their phones, certainly if it was the last number that phone dialed.

if DB watched the CA trial,,then she would know LE could get all that info,I think she got rid of the phones, but tried to pass it off as the kidnapper used it.IF she lied about the service has me stumped!! I just don't know!!

IS this Jersey's girlfriend? Have I missed something or is everyone just speculating on something here - to me, he'd be in cuffs if so.

I wonder if Jeremy had to work overtime as a common occurence at his day job? I know that the Starbucks job was a surprise thing on the side and outside of his normal hours, but if he had to work overtime a lot, it might not have surprised. Or he might have told her they were shooting for a certain time to get done, but it could go later if they hit a problem.

Typically, my bf leaves work at 6. That's when the shop closes, that's when he leaves. Yesterday, he was delayed because they recieved some material that was likely stolen and had to wait for LE and track back records and all that. I still didn't call him until 7:30 p.m. and he normally calls me by 6:05 p.m. So it took me an hour and a half to consider the fact that something might be wrong. If he had warned me before hand (which he couldn't because he didn't know) that he would be late, I likely wouldn't have called him at all, assuming that he was still working, and he would call or be home when he was done. I don't know how DB and JI work things, but I don't call my bf while he's at work unless it's an emergency. I let him call me when he's on break or at lunch. Just an observation.

I really think we need to be careful assuming she lied about the cell phone service being turned off, to the best of her knowledge. It's so proveable that it's either totally bogus, or an error on the phone company's part.

Exactly, and this is the reason the children are not being interviewed today.

He is in cuffs or I should say jail. It's my speculating and I'm sticking with it for now until more comes out. jmo

ETA, he has a $10,000 bond currently.

A call or text was sent at 2:38 according to some source that I can't pin down. I do believe that DB mentions that the police told her about it, but I am not sure about that. Then we have this nighttime phone call to MW's phone. I am not sure that they are the same call? It stands to reason that if you can call one number from a supposedly restricted/broken phone, you can call anyone you want from a supposedly restricted/broken phone...

As I understood it, he was going to complete a task, not work a shift. So if he said I'll probably be home about 10:30, that's just a guess, and I wouldn't worry in my sleep that he wasn't home yet.
