Still should be dashcam of that and audio of what was being said.

not sure who this works but from what I hear locally here in Minneapolis there is not an automatic activation at all on these cars...they of course are talking about it now. And unless there is some magic audio none of that either...and dashcam if on (some question here) did not capture anything. This is a case of the officer's words and one will probably be charged. Any I have seen mention here of arrest today etc....from what I see here in Mn. Minneapolis PD does not investigate themselves since 2014 for some obvious reasons. They have to have BCA investigate and I have seen mention of months. Of course given the pressure here it could be sooner but not expecting much that soon.

Noor might not be talking, but it seems his family is.....

"The family of Justine Damond's killer have declared his innocence, saying Mohamed Noor mistakenly shot her dead."

“If you wait for the investigation you’ll know it was an honest and sincere event that transpired. Until then we can’t really say anything.”

So, did you hear any fireworks Saturday night?

From http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/ne...d/news-story/f1fceb1b41f4c9494e136365861e1d02

"News Corp spoke to half a dozen residents who were in their houses around the crime scene on Saturday night and none had heard the gunshot or any other loud noises that sounded like fireworks. One resident a block from the scene, waiter Tom McConnell, said however it was common during the current summer holidays for fireworks left over from the recent July 4 celebrations to be set off on weekend nights."

I want to know how the story has change do from MULTIPLE gunshots fired to a SINGLE shot to the abdomen. I understand how the two may not be mutually exclusive (he shot several times, only hit her once or only the abdomen wound was fatal), but how many times he shot her is crucial IMO. Once could conceivably be an accident.......multiple times means not an accidental discharge.....not that there should ever be an accidental discharge......my point is this is an important detail that since the BCA released some details last night, seems to have changed........MOO

So, no protests?

Hopefully, the transcript of Justine's 911 call will be released soon, as well as the audio/transcript of what dispatch told the officers as they were driving to the scene.

Was Justine in the alley as she called? Was she still connected to the operator as she approached the squad car? Did dispatch tell the officers that the caller was in the alley?

Harrity was driving the squad car as the officers went through an alley to look for a suspect. The squad lights were off when the noise startled him, Harrity said.

No weapon was found at the scene. The officers did not turn on their body cameras until after the shooting, and the squad car camera was also not activated.

Were they stopped or was the car moving?

Also, I wonder if the screaming she heard was actually a fox in the area.

Oh i didn't give that a thought. A fox or a rabbit that a fox or cat had caught. I have heard it before and it does sound like a woman scream.

it was ruled a homicide for sure...I live a few blocks from her home.

How do the residents get to the alley? Here in Arizona we have a backyard gate that goes directly into the alley.

Good thinking. A rabbit can also make a god-awful scream.

I don't understand, a gunshot from the passenger side thru an open window on the drivers side, the victim was talking to the passenger in the drivers seat and she was shot in the stomach???? Was Noor leaning over the policeman in the drivers seat, I cannot figure out how he was able to shoot her in the stomach if she was bending down to speak with the driver. What was it about this lady that made Noor feel he had to shoot her????????

no protests that I am aware of but vigils...I find his family's statement that is was a mistake troubling. They should not be talking.

That is my experience too...not uncommon to hear in the neighborhood at all during summer weekends...this is a very very nice neighborhood with lots of children of all ages. Again if an officer cannot deal with the sound of fireworks they should not be on the job. I fully expect some defense to be along the lines of PTSD whereby Noor heard the fireworks and thought he was back in Mogadishu.!!

just walk out your back door and go to the alley...they lived a few doors down from the entrance to the alley where he shot her. Most people with alleys in back have a fence in their back yard.
