MISSING PERSON ALERT: The Princeton Police Dept. is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing woman. Tanis Larson, 46, is 5’07”, 240 lbs., with green eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a dark colored Bob Marley T-shirt and black sweat pants. Larson was last seen on Sat., April 28, at 2 p.m. She walks with a limp. Larson may seek out churches. Anyone with information on Tanis Larson’s whereabouts is urged to contact Mille Lacs County Dispatch at 888-860-8250 or dial 911.

I'm just south of Princeton, I'll be keeping my eyes open. It's still quite rural in that area, so I hope the word is out to check barns and out buildings. Hope they find her safe and soon! We're forecast for rain through out the day today.

A woman's body was recovered from the Rum River in Princeton on May 20, but I can't find anything besides this. Her spouse works at the local hospital, there were searches done, but it was canoeists who found the body. No confirmation that it is her, and no obituary yet.

Thank you for this update! I can't think of any other missing females in that area that it could be. I do believe we still have a gentleman missing from that area though. Off to see if I am remembering correctly...

According to a post on 5/25 on the Facebook page dedicated to her, she was found deceased.

It is with great sadness and the heaviest of hearts that we inform you that Tanis is with the Lord in Heaven. Please pray for strength and peace for her family, friends, and all of those touched by her amazing soul.

I couldn't find anything either. Even with the spelling of her name as Tannis (that's how it's spelled on her remember page). There is something that says a memorial service is set for June 9th in Princeton.
