I saw the parents interviewed this morning on the Today show. Also an FBI agent spoke about the case. He fumble farted around when asked about the Amber Alert. Said something like- the response from LE was just as great as if an Amber Alert had been issued.

Is there a movement for change in the AA criteria? If so can someone point me to it?

~Prayers for Breeann's safe return~

Our country needs to revamp the Amber Alert System...it's flawed!:banghead:

I am just sick and tired of hearing that there is no evidence of foul play...come on people a child & her bike are MISSING...a THREE YR OLD!!!

I completely agree with you. The system is flawed because it is only issued under certain circumstances. When ever kid deserves to have their info plastered across the tv when the are missing.

Are there ditches right there where they are working, and do they have water in them? I haven't seen photos other than the one showing the crime-unit vehicles...

Just got back as well from first appt... Now a second piece of evidence?

Where are you Breeann? St Anthony please help her searchers!

2nd piece of evidence

Police continue to be tight lipped about the evidence found, only saying it's physical evidence and not elaborating on what was found.

The first piece of evidence was found Tuesday night around 7pm, but it was too dark to conduct any kind of search.

The second piece of evidence was found around 11:30am Wednesday morning. Police have cadaver dogs searching the area and are also conducting an aerial search by helicopter.

Yes, there appears to be an irrigation ditch that runs along the area they are searching. If you look at my map and click the 2nd search area. It is right near there.

When the ditches fill up where I live, which happens with one afternoon rainstorm, people are sweapt away on a regular basis...usually kids. It happens every summer. I'm wondering what the condition of the ditch was and the weather, etc...here in NM, in the course of an hour a ditch goes from dry to overflowing very quickly and it is usually a skateboarder or a kid on on a bike who goes downstream...

I hate to think this but.......

It is in the S.O. typical radius that most dispose of a body, with in a 5 miles radius of abduction....

wish we had someone local who could keep an eye on the scene (from afar) to see what's going on...impatient for any news!

:praying:

Please let this just be parts of her bike
and she is sitting on a nice little grandmas couch somewhere eating cookies and watching a Disney movie....

FBI agent details why no AMBER Alert has been issued for Breeann Rodriguez

FBI Special Agent Dennis Baker said though investigators “are working under the presumption that it was a child abduction,” there is not sufficient information about an abductor to issue an alert.

For a federal AMBER Alert to be issued, Baker explained, there needs to be a confirmed child abduction and a description of the suspect or suspect’s vehicle, saying there are no leads that point to any suspects in this case.

Although an AMBER Alert has not been issued, Baker assured that the FBI and local law enforcement were taking the disappearance seriously.

“The law enforcement response is the same,” he said, “whether an AMBER Alert is issued or not, we respond in the same manner.”

When asked about the white van that witnesses had reported in the area at the time of the abduction, Baker responded that they are looking for the van, but called it just one of a number of leads. He said even though the van was seen in the area at the time, it is not tied to a suspect nor is it being treated as involved in the suspected abduction.

Okay, there is a sex offender, initials JH, who resides outside of Cardwell MO. His work is shown on the map to be near the intersection of 412 and State Highway P. (However, when you type that actual address into Google, it comes up as much further west on Highway P.)

Anyway, if you map the home address and the work location, according to the map, it is a straight shot from his work to home passing through Breeann's home. He is a 2nd degree statutory sodomy from 2001 with an 11yo girl. I sure hope that he's been checked out.

I mapped it for a visual.

I think people assume that an official Amber Alert will alert the entire nation, which isn't really the case. There were two recent AA's, one in N. Cal and one in TN, and none of the children involved were flashed across national TV screens...a lot of people seem to get hung up on issuing or not issuing the actual AA, but as long as alerts and broadcasts are going as, it seems to amount to the same thing, especially if a suspect and/or vehicle description is unknown.
