I've checked a couple of topix threads but same as BeanE I can only find arguing and some racist comments. Interspersed with prayers for the family.

The thing about topix is that along with some sincere folks, it seems to attract the worst of the worst kinds of trolls. I find itnhard to put credence into any of what is posted there.

Lead Prosecutor Stephen P. Sokoloff was contacted by the Daily Dunklin Democrat after the news broke and did confirm that the man is being questioned and that his office is working on determining the formal filing of charges. At approximately 9 a.m., Sokoloff added that the state should have more information within the hour in regard to the case and what advancements have been made, including any charges that would be filed.

A male suspect is presently in custody and being questioned in regard to the case of missing 3-year-old, Breeann Rodriguez of Senath.

Dunklin County Sheriff Bob Holder announced early Saturday morning that a person of interest was in custody and that he was being held at the Justice Center pending the filing of formal charges through the Dunklin County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

I'm so sorry for these parents and so heartbroken for this baby. It is so sad how many children are being murdered by these sickos wandering around loose.
I too have a feeling that he is someone known to the family. Still, it has to be terrible for these parents right now.

Okay all I can find is a bunch of people cursing and insulting each other on Topix. I really don't care to read that kind of garbage, especially while LE is out recovering this precious baby's body.

Could someone please paraphrase what's being said that's of significance to what happened to Breeann? And link to the page the discussion is on so we can go read it?

All I saw was someone posting about a mexican drug cartel and the dad owing money and that's why this baby is allegedly dead. After I saw that post, I clicked the big red X at the top right corner of my screen.

I can't believe people continue to throw garbage at this family. It's pathetic.

No child deserves to be murdered.

n/t i'm not saying i believe that person nor am blaming the parents. But there is as much of a chance it is true as that its false. it could explain why they failed the LD test. If it is true i hope at least that they are the ones that gave LE the info needed to catch the guy.

I agree with you. Most posts on those sites are not to be believed. There are new posts all the time that GA or LA was Caylee's father - that rumor was debunked years ago but the fools persist....:banghead: :banghead:

It seems to be a tradition that in every missing person case, somebody has to go on Topix and post that somebody in the family owed drug money and that's why the person was abducted.

I think people keep all the standard rumors in Notepad and just copy/paste them over to Topix with each new missing person case.

One of the articles said the DA's office expected to have an update for the press in about an hour. That should be coming up soon.
