lol we have all posted the same thing to you, Jessica. I hope you don't take this the wrong way. We are not giving you the run-around, really. If I repeat what has been discovered and posted up to date, I feel like I would need to credit the original posters for their hard work and ideas. I would have to go through the threads to trace all the links. Once you read the threads on this case, your curiosity will be answered, and you will hopefully not have to apologize in every post :P I look forward to your input!

It is absolutely a time zone thing, b/c it shows on mine that she made this post at 9:45 am...and I am in her time zone. You are three hours behind us.

Thats crazy not only am I in her time zone I really don't live that far from this and it shows 6:45 on mine. Maybe I never set my time zone though. let me see if I can change my time zone and see if that changes the time of the post.

I asked if they new for certain that the 15 year old girl wrote the letter and not someone else. I also asked if they had motive yet. The second question I don't think was answered.

I heard you!! You had great questions!! I said "Yea really" after your motive question

POST 424:
BBM

I happen to teach middle school, and yes, this age group will say things like that in front of teachers. In many instances they are just attention seeking, but sometimes they're not, either way, as professional educators we're required to report such comments to our superiors and let them make the decision on what to do about it. Also, as I mentioned before, I know this girl and have heard from many adults that comments and other warning signs were made in front of adults who should have known better. For whatever reason, they were ignored. It's too late to help Elizabeth or even this young women, but maybe others will start acting on early warning signals before tragedy strikes--otherwise what's the point of having early warning signals?

We arent posting or passing on any names of minors here. If and when the media reports it we will then use the name of this person.

Hi, I know I asked this before on the other thread about Elizabeth Olten, but what is the name of the 15 year old?? All I know is that you guys call her "AB" I know you guys know her name.. can someone send me a link to it? Or point me in the right direction at least??

I can't find my other post on the last Elizabeth Olten thread, so I don't know if anyone answered my question or not, or if it was deleted..So, if someone could please clue me in I would really appreciate it.

How did you guys get the 15 year olds name, if they didn't even release it yet??

Thanks so much in advance for your help!

Hi,
I'm a local, and personally know AB. We're in the same class, and I've been going to school with her since we were 12. I makes me really sad that she could've done something like this, and makes me rethink my judge of character.

Something I'd like to clear up is that she has seeked help for mental issues in the past. She dresses "emo", but hasn't really shown any outward signs of depressions since two years ago.

When she was around her friends, she was very happy, and bouncy, and open, and I have never witnessed her being a bully. Ever.

There are tons and tons of rumors going around our school, yet none of them contradict another. I'd like to post some of them, but being simply rumors, i can't.

Hi All,

LillyAnne contacted me by email before I realized she was a classmate of the accused.

Before I realized this I emailed back that I would like to talk to her.

When I realized she was the same age (or close to it) as the accused I asked her, actually begged her, not to post.

As much as I would love inside information it is just not right to have a teenager associated with something as traumatic as this posting about it on Websleuths.

I told her that if she wanted to post about it anyway and went to another forum people would try and contact her and she would have no idea if those people were safe or not. I can only imagine if she went on some of the other lowlife forums that will post and say anything.

Don't you all agree that it is not a good idea? I hope you understand.

I also told her that if she and a parent wanted to call me to talk about this I would be glad to explain the pitfalls of posting.

She has no idea what she is getting into. It's hard enough when you are an adult to jump into a forum. Let alone when you are a kid involved in something as tragic as this.

Thank you for understanding.

No more children need to be hurt and we all know how the internet can be!
You did exactly what I thought you would do, and I am proud to be a member of a forum who cares about everyone!
God Bless You Tricia for thinking of the children first!
You are loved dearly here!

I totally agree Tricia. I just worry there may be more in the days to come, because they're going to be looking for a safe place where they can talk about this and process things. If I was 16 and stumbled upon this forum, it would strike me as a safe harbor. Just my 2 cents.

Hi Mydailyopinions, I so agree with you and believe it was the right call by Tricia.

I sensed this girl needs to talk about this traumatic happening that is so close to her. Hopefully her school will have counselors who will work with the kids to help them thru this. xox

Just got back from Hy-Vee, across the street from where the service was today. There was still a big KMOV TV (St. Louis) truck in HyVee at 9:45 pm. It looked like they were packing up, but the satellite dish (one of those great big ones) was still raised. Wonder why they are still here so late.

This is totally off topic but I have never heard of anyone shopping at a Hy-Vee that was not in Iowa. I worked at one when I was in high school. :-)
