I laughed. You should seriously see some of the palaces they've built for courthouses with the traffic ticket monies here. It's everywhere in the St. Louis area.

I'm not sure that LE revenue can be used to rebuild businesses. I could be wrong.

I am really glad to hear of these. Should clear things up substantially. I hope this video will be shared with the grand jury and eventually be made public. There are just too many questions right now with this case.

They did it last night. They are doing it again tomorrow. And they have promised to continue to do it until OW is arrested and charged, possibly additional demands as well.

THAT is terrorism - we will take over the streets until we get what we demand. We will stop your vehicle. You will have no choice but to stop where you are while surrounded by a mob of angry people chanting. You will be at their mercy. Granted, they aren't cutting people's heads off, but it is the same mentality. Give me what I want or you will suffer the consequences.

And peaceful mob??? I'm afraid to see what would happen to anyone who decides not to take their "shitake mushrooms" (as my kids like to say.)

You know what kills me the most about these people who are doing this? They are only hurting their own community, which they are trying to demonstrate their love for. GMAB.

Well, I am not so naive as to think DJ's experience was the same as the Duggar kids, but thanks. I think that being raised with 19 other kids is not reason alone to turn to crime.

Although, if I had to live in a home with 19 kids, I might knock over a liquor store just to get locked up for the peace and quiet.

2 of the teenage girls who watched me when I was a kid were sisters- 2 of 15.

Made racist comments often...one day I confronted him and asked him what the heck was his problem. Turns out he was a wizard ...A WIZARD ??? He actually BRAGGED. I have grown up my whole life with people like that on the periphery. Maybe that is why I truly believe racism is alive and rampant, because I have personally experienced those people, know that they assimilate into local politics, business and yes, LE.

Anyone who has ever lived in the deep south has seen the three crosses along the highways will tell you this is real and not some long-dead part of our history.

Heck, where I live now, I hear the "N" word quite often in reference to the Katrina refugees. It's real. Even today.

Terrorism? C'mon. It's frankly disgraceful to compare protesting with bringing down the World Trade Center buildings. How is peacefully protesting hurting their community? Short answer is it's not.

While that is horrible and intolerable in our society, I don't believe it is rampant.

I also firmly believe that Officer Wilson is not a racist. If he were, and Ferguson has SO MANY complaints against the force, why is it that he is seemingly the one guy who managed to keep his bloodthirsty racism so hidden under the radar to only manifest itself in the coldblooded killing of a young black unarmed teen.

IF...and it is a HUGE if to me at this point....but IF it is shown that OW was not justified in the shooting, I feel there would be about 10-15 other reasons much higher on his priority list as to why he would have done it, and I think those things would be perhaps the bold walking down the center of the street, the refusal to get out of the street, the punch to the eye, the trying to get the gun, the gun going off, the running away from him, the (possible) taunting him in the street...etc...but I would be willing to bet my life that whatever the reason OW did shoot MB, it had nothing to do with race. Yet here we all are.

When I was a young teen my parents watched "All In The Family." They thought it was funny. I didn't think it was funny until I was much older ...the reason I found it funny...I was laughing AT Archie Bunker....
I never met anyone like him in my life. I thought he was beyond stupid and his opinions were laughable.

They are so worried about their civil rights, yet they seem to forget that OW also has rights.

I also have a bi-racial family. My step-son is married to an African-American lady and they have 4-children. We are all in this together.

I do believe you're right. The key thing for me is that it remain peaceful and if blocking a highway can be done without risk of harm to others, so be it.

I don't like the idea of blocking a highway. That's rude to the others that want to actually drive on the highway, imo.

Stalking officers of the courts private homes.

Call it whatever you want but it is far from cool.

I don't like the idea of blocking a highway. That's rude to the others that want to actually drive on the highway, imo.

I don't either. It's disrespectful. It's not way to be taken seriously and spread a message.
I'm pretty darn impatient and the last thing I would want is a bunch of people blocking my way...I am obviously on my way somewhere! It would just annoy me.
