Charges stem from an argument w/husband re his infidelity on night of 7/3. Plead not guilty. $75K reduced (7/31/18) to $25K cash or Surety only bond, & then changed (8/16/18) to $200K.
*Recharged (1/29/19) with 2 counts of 2nd degree murder, 4 counts of 1st degree endangering the welfare of a child creating substantial risk, 3rd degree domestic assault, 1st degree armed criminal action & 1st degree property damage. $500K bond. CLAY COUNTY — A trial date approaches for a mother who faces nine felonies including two second-degree murder charges in the deaths of her two young daughters.

During a court hearing last week, both the state and defendant sides told the judge they were ready for the trial to begin, which is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17, in the Rooney Justice Center in Liberty. The maximum sentence that could be sought for the second-degree murder charges is no less than 10 years and no more than 30 years each, the indictment states.
