The PD appears to be VERY cooperative with the media. That's a good thing, IMO.

Lisa Irwin Timeline

Abducted by intruder through bedroom window. Far right window of house. UPDATE—according to police spokesman window may not be correct.

Other two sons asleep in different bedrooms. (sons are half brothers to Lisa)

Father is electrician that works nights. Just started job on this night.

Mother is a SAHM

Monday October 3, 2011 10:00 p.m. Last seen in crib wearing purple shorts and purple shirt with white kittens on it.

**Possibly seen by Mr. Parscale (a man that lives in the area) according to his wife Lisa around 12:00 a.m. Tuesday wearing only a diaper being carried by a male. Quote from Lisa--“He seen the guy act like he was going to go into a residence,” Parscale said, “but then my husband drove off so we’re thinking that maybe he was just doing that so that my husband would leave.”

**Parscale says her husband saw the man walking on a street perpendicular to North Lister, where Lisa Irwin lives with her parents and brothers.

Tuesday October 4, 2011 3:30 a.m. (first report stated it was 4:00 a.m.) Father returns home from work and discovered baby missing from crib.

UPDATE at 2:00 p.m. October 4 presser Capt. Steve Young speaking—Parents story has no holes. Looking into neighbor that possibly saw Lisa being carried by the male. No suspects other than neighbor sighting.

Wish more would learn the public isn't the enemy and you don't hurt investigations by letting people know what you are doing within reason. If anything it helps towards a resolution. Whether or not family is involved.

This is only three miles from me! Who would do this? I have not heard of anything us locals can do at this point, but, if anyone knows if the command center needs volunteers, water, etc. please let us know. I'm have a 1 1/2 yr old granddaughter and cannot imagine her missing!

Can anyone tell if this is indeed part of the screen in the window that the cop is fingerprinting the edges of or is the entire screen gone? To my eyes it looks like only a slit was cut then wide enough only for a child or small framed person to fit through. I cannot tell if the screen is pushed from inside out or outside in. One moment I look at it and it looks like pushed from inside out.

Two pictures the second one is a blow up of the window.

To me it looks like it's been slashed up pretty good!

So, who are the children laughing near baby Lisa behind the storm door (shown in some collections of photos of lisa)? Are these step or half-siblings? Who are they? News reports indicate two other children living in the house, I presume they are the children pictured.

It's been said in this thread by at least one local that both parents are Lisa's bioparents, and "no steps". However, these other children pictured are dark complected with black or hispanic or biracial features. Are we very sure there is no former mate or spouse or relative or former relative who would begrudge the family its new baby? Are these foster children, or nephews? Who are they?

Also, why are the parent's names being withheld in press accounts. That is unusual.

Thanks for the updates everyone! Please let today be a good day for this little one! :(

I can't imagine they'd turn down a few cases of water.

They seem to be focusing the search very close to home, do we know if the dogs found anything?

Oh. I see it has been clarified in the last several posts that those children ARE half-siblings (half brothers). That opens the door to a disgruntled relation snatching the baby.

I believe the boys in the picture are Lisa's half brothers (from her mom's previous relationship).

Both parents are on the scene and cooperating with police, according to ABC's Kansas City affiliate KMBC. Investigators will also be speaking to a couple of other children that were in the house at the time, according to KMBC.

"We are interviewing family and friends just to eliminate everyone's that close to the family as suspects," Snapp said. Police do not have any witnesses or suspects at this time. Snapp describe the family's neighborhood as a "middle class, very quiet neighborhood."

this is where the command post is! (strange place!)

I have it marked on the map:

http://g.co/maps/ggsb7

**he says 100 officers involved!
This area actually would be the ideal place for their command center. Right near the neighborhood, but out of the way and close to the highway for easy access. Right on the river and this particular road just leads to a few houses and businesses only. Not very much traffic.

I hate that innocent children and innocent families have to go through such an awful event as this. I so hope that this sweet little girl is found soon and I hope that this is an innocent family.

yes, you have the correct place marked. There is only 1 house there and we locals call it "On the Hill". They are known to have concerts up there for autism awareness a couple of times a year or so. Could be in the wooded area that pretty much surrounds it. A fairly small patch of woods, but very dense.
