I missed a few days & am trying to catch up on reading through threads.
1. I tend to believe that that 'father' told the truth about the wood chipper/skull wouldn't go through/chopped & tossed across states murder. Wright gave tremendous detail - hate to say it, but I imagine Wright was very proud & boasting at what he'd done, and prob' got even a bit carried away - it's been mentioned that Wright & MS are the sort of people lacking in awareness of how others actually view them.....
2. I vaguely recall the area where the car was left, and I was in that area so many years prior. My guess is that the murderer left the victim's car there figuring that it would be stolen pretty dang quickly: Keys in the car & driver door ajar ------ that would attract anyone to do 'walk by's'. MAYBE the car didn't get stolen because police at that time were doing 'bait car' sting operations & the locals had their antennae up.
3. Do we know exactly where Mark Sievers (physically, bodily) was throughout this entire time frame?
4. Agree that it makes sense that Wright likely was a thief-IMO and just lean that way. My guess about the car issue was Wright's mindset was: So I buy a car from you on credit - hey I gave you a down payment & that's it - how dare you bad mouth ME to any of my pals, to my mum, to potential GF's, etc. - now Go Away. If any of us here are involved in 12 Step programs, it is said that active addicts IPSO FACTO, by definition, are crooks, thieves & liars.
I would imagine, too, that if the victim showed 'goodness', Bible-toting? Jesus saved me? Jesus saved me & let me try to help you? sort of conduct toward Wright, IN WRIGHT'S HEAD, that in itself would 'justify' the murder ('he deserves it', 'what a loser', 'what a hypocrite!').
5. This ties over to Jimmy Rogers & Wright: Why the heck would Wright not have insisted all the evidence be disposed of properly? It makes ZERO sense to me Wright did not 'take control' over that aspect of the aftermath. What I'm GUESSING is that Jimmy wanted the hammer & the bloody painter's outfit as 'souvenirs'/'trophies', and tricked Wright somehow. I can't think of how Jimmy could think up a workable lie to say to Wright. We all need to remember that these alleged murderers, Wright, Rogers and 'still in the envelope' X?Y? ALL were convinced they had concocted The Perfect Crime and NEVER EVER WOULD they be caught -----NEVER did they think ANYONE could have any suspicion of ANY of them (if Mark Sievers was 'in on this', "well I was in CT & 20 people can verify that I was there, detective florida" ..........perhaps this #5 ought to be cut&pasted over the the crime scene or a Wright/Rogers thread?
