As I mentioned above, IMO, suicide is NOT a likely explanation.
While I leave a little room for foul play, I think an accident is most likely.
A few thoughts related to this.
1. I do NOT have a very good sense of direction, so it's common for me to miss turns or lose my way even in broad daylight. If you add in another layer of complication--like it's dark, I'm running late and feel pressured to get somewhere quickly, am in an unfamiliar area, or am stressed because of road conditions--I could *easily* turn down the wrong road into a park or onto a boat ramp.
In my opinion, if Toni has a history of speeding and was fatigued from being out late, it's VERY plausible she made a fatal error due to speeding or disorientation. If she used any kind of substance that dulled/skewed her senses even a little, it becomes even more likely IMO.
Does anyone know if she was known for having a poor sense of direction? My family and friends know this all too well about me.
2. I live near many bodies of water. Things go into the water for all kinds of reasons (boats sink, snowmobiles and vehicles are driven out when the ice is too thin, inebriated drivers make impossibly foolish mistakes). I am frequently surprised by where the objects end up. They often seem illogically far away or in a surprising direction from where they went in.
In light of this, I wouldn't rule out the possibility the car could've careened/been airborne/rolled down a hill until we hear from experts who can project these sorts of thing from previous data.
In relationship to this, I want to know if they are scouring the hillsides and any non-guardrailed areas, looking for a path of entry. Tire marks, glass, ripped off mirrors, paint scrapes etc.
