I understand, but I think it is a little too much of a co-incidence. How many times have you seen people in gas stations buying gas for generators? I am sure it can happen and that LE investigated, but it is still eyebrow raising.
We see it a lot where we live which is in the south in a rural area like Jessica lived in. We have a generator for hurricanes and for times when a storm knocks out the power. Rural areas have power outages due to the abundance of trees. One small tree can knock out power for a few hours and take a while for the company to locate and fix due to the large area that has to be covered and checked. We used our generator just a few weeks ago and my husband may or may not have filled the cans again since then.
But yes, it is a bit alarming to see it happening right next to Jessica as we know what happened to her shortly thereafter.
For me the disturbing part is the on minute skip in the tape and the question why is that one minute skipped. When watching what appears to be 2 people in striped clothing filling the cans a whole minute is skipped. I have no idea why or if there is an explanation for that.
