Leischa, you make good points, and I do agree that Jessica could not have reached the peddles with the seat scooted that far back. I am just thinking that perhaps the seats were like that before the fire, rather than being jolted back as a result of the fire. It's just a thought... I have little knowledge of fires and the damage they cause.

I agree with you that the seats could've been reclined like that before the fire. I don't know if the heat and/or the fire itself could've brought them in that position.

Did her family say she went there, if I may trouble you for a link to that information. TIA (sorry to ask, not meant as a challenge)

Disregard what I said, please, because I can't find a link to anything but some blogs that I am trying to ignore because they seem to have an agenda that has nothing to do with Jessica or justice. Thanks.

Without facts being released all we can do is try to connect the dots. You could be right. Maybe she was knocked out and that is why the seat was reclined. She may have been dumped there. It is certainly a secluded place. Evidently some people are saying she was at a party and police are talking to them.

Police have also been talking to "many, many people," including those who say they were at a party with Chambers, and Champion confirms Chambers herself spoke to one of the firefighters who found her, though he didn't reveal what she said. He simply tells CNN, "It has certainly given us a lead we're following up on."

I found this and have no idea if it is legit but it quotes CNN: http://www.newser.com/story/199889/phone-may-be-key-to-case-of-teen-burned-alive.html

champion cannot confirm that chambers spoke, he can only confirm that he was told that chambers spoke.

The 911 caller will be revealed at trial.

On another note, in my spare time, I enjoy reviewing the Mississippi Department of Corrections Active Offenders under Supervision by Community Corrections list at http://www.mdoc.state.ms.us/PDF%20Files/ActiveOffendersSupervisionCCRegionI.pdfhttp://.

So many fun names.

However, if "Eric" does not sound like Karen (and it reasonably may under certain circumstances), I think Eric is a middle name. JMO

I think it would be deplorable that someone under supervision by corrections is responsible, inter alios, inter alia.

Exhausted, y'all, and about to head to bed - bookmarked the interview with BR + will give it a full listen in the morning.

Also wanted to share this article (for the sake of comparison) about a murder case in Ohio within the last 2-3 years, where the female victim was burned alive, managed to survive for a short period of time, and was also able to name the guilty... haven't researched it in too much depth but the surface similarities piqued my interest in trying to solve Jessica's murder. http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/local/2013/10/08/burning-body-murder-trial.html

The Celeste Fronsman case was horrible (as is Jessica's). Looks like it was a revenge attack over "snitching" on a gang leader or, according to the defense attorney, for money that was owed to one of the women. All three guilty and in jail.

Let's hope there's justice for Jessica soon.

I was with you right up to the last second. I can't imagine anyone in the town having the gumption to even leave their house let alone exact revenge.

What would make you think a vigilante group would be composed of local residents?

Wow, we're still in speculation mode, in three more days it's been a month. No breaks, no leaks to media, no leaks to tertiary news sites, nothing. Incredible, nothing new at all. MSM seems to have completely abandoned this story.

About two days ago I read something on one of Tom Dee's SM pages. He's considered a legitimate journalist, so I'm pretty sure referencing the material isn't against WS TOS. The problem is, the whole exchange is now either missing, or beyond my ken to retrieve it. It started with Tom posting "After 110 hours in Courtland". It continued in an exchange with a woman, and concluded with "What you are looking for isn't in any video, it's not in any interview, it's not in any picture or recording, you have to be on foot" you have to be on foot

Now I know damned well I saw it, but I didn't preserve it. I truly wish I had. Can anyone confirm what I saw, and what significance you think the statement has? I have my own theories, but hopefully at least one of you saw it, and you have ideas too.

Didn't see it, sorry. But I realized that I somehow missed thanking you for your thoughts on the perp here which were real well considered. Thank you

rsbm to remove the link --

He is not a legitimate journalist by any means.

http://www.clarionledger.com/story/.../charles-johnson-james-foley-tweets/14320165/

no, he isn't.

Much of what he publishes is either wrong or tasteless, but that matters little to Mr. Johnson or his audience, which responds by forming mobs on Twitter or using the personal information to put fake ads on Craigslist to chase after the targets he points to.

After watching him set off a series of small mushroom clouds, it struck me that he might be the ultimate expression of a certain kind of citizen journalism — one far more toxic than we’re accustomed to seeing.

QUESTION

SOO as of today this http://www.clarionledger.com/

is not considered a legitimate news source?
do we need a list of ALLOWED MSN/

No -- I think you misunderstand. 'Gotnews' is a blog, and it is not MSM or legitimate journalism, nor is Charles Johnson (about whom the article in the Clarion-Ledger was written) a legitimate journalist. The Clarion-Ledger is definitely MSM.
