I think the state did an excellent closing, and I am convinced that QT is guilty, and will face justice, in the afterlife if not this one. I still feel, in my gut, that this jury will not be able to reach a unanimous guilty verdict...there may only be one or two holdouts, but one is enough. I still think the defense hammered home the 'Eric' theme enough that at least one or two jurors will not be able to work past that. I also do not think it will take long to see the jury is divided. As always, JMO

You thought the same in other cases IIRC, most recently the Bobo case?

I actually thought the state did a great job tying all of the evidence together. TBH, prior to closing, I was really one the fence with the Eric/Derrick thing. However, the timeline, cell phone pings and CCTV holds as much weight to me. I have a feeling the jury will hang, though. They have a tough job.
