Perhaps prompting the media for an update would help?

How do we know that LE is not still looking for this child? It seems the family isn't doing much except CYA but I would think LE is still working on this case. Just because they aren't telling the public or media anything doesn't mean they've deserted the case, they're usually working quietly in the background. At least in most cases that is true.

O/T, but what has happened to the type on this website? It is super small, and I have not changed settings. Plus this is the only website that is affected. Makes it hard to read with my old, sick eyes. Just wonderin'.

I agree. I often wonder if they aren't being very quiet and waiting for the people who know information, to feel comfortable and make a mistake. We all know that someone (some people) know exactly what happened, I hope they slip up soon.

I agree. I have not been able to think that she wandered off, and on that remote road, a kidnapper just happened to drive by. They searched far and wide and even used dogs. With nothing found. (that we know of) I just don't see LE just walking away from this child.

As the sun rises on the West Coast, I begin my day with a heartfelt prayer for answers to the questions that continue to swirl regarding little Myra.

The silence in her case continues to deafen. The community at large, locally, nationwide, and globally via Websleuths, continue to demand answers from those who appear unable (or unwilling? :moo: ) to give them.

Meanwhile, a beautiful, precious two year old child is out there somewhere, all alone in the world. This is unacceptable to us.

We will continue to speak up and speak out. Our voices will not be silenced. We are Myra's voice - until she is found.

There are cold cases on WS. There are many cases where children are never found. There are some that we hear of that the parents just never stop looking, or never let it die down. This case is NOT one of those. I don't know if it's lack of knowledge or lack of resources, or just no guidance. I wish just one family member would take charge and insist this case get in gear again.

I think they want the case and media to go away. Either they know where she is, or are over it. I have NEVER seen a family not look. They have done nothing

Although kids do wander off sometimes, especially very young ones, it may seem unlikely that a stranger happened along at the right time, but it does happen, although that is rare, I think. May be more common than we think, though.

However, this just does not smell right to me. I agree, someone knows something, but LE does not usually sit back and wait for someone to talk. They keep interviewing anybody who may know something. They put pressure on them, go over their story again and again until they pick up on the subtle changes in their stories, and sooner or later they get to the bottom of the truth. Usually.. not always. Sometimes they have to sit back and just keep looking for inconsistencies with the people closest to the MP.

I do wish someone would talk, though. It breaks my heart for the little ones whose lives are taken before they've had a chance to live.

I believe that if she wandered off they would have found her with all of the searches. They had LE from the tri-county area not to mention the FBI and MS Deot of Wildlife & Fisheries. Someone knows but they're not talking. JMO.

IMO, this is just an all around tragedy. Absolutely! These parents should be screaming in the streets! AND, LE should be pounding on doors!

Unfortunately, the area that this little girl has "disappeared" from is located in an extremely rural part of Mississippi. Unless the FBI is on the ground in the area looking for this sweet baby, I seriously doubt that the SD is "all over this." I do believe that if someone will ever speak up, at that point, LE will highly involve themselves. Being familiar with the area, I just don't think that is what is happening, here. It could be due to lack of resources... JMO

It is sad that it seems that perfect strangers seem to care the most about whether this innoncent, little girl is found.

I think there are some more that haven't looked, but I also think many (not Bob's) families wonder if they just walked away. This child didn't decide to take a break. I think they have hunkered down now and circled the wagons.
