That makes sense. Was his mugshot published in MSM when he was arrested or was it ferreted out by industrious WSers? Could be a case of mistaken identity on our parts. JMO...

Its a screenshot of the back of him - showing his bald head, they did not show his face. They did say it was John Tanko.

The guy in court doesn't look like the mug shots we've seen , at least not from the side. The guy in court looked young & healthy - and tall & slender. Oh - and he had a shaved head.

It looked very recently shaved. Did he starting shaving it before or after incarceration? Cuz one neighbor said Jersey had brownish/blonde hair and he was in his 20s. But, on Nancy Grace, he was said to be in his 40s, which matched the mugshot that was later turned up. I think after he was arrested, it was also reported that he was in his 40s. Did the media get the wrong Tanko? I'm gonna see if I can dig up links surrounding his arrest...

Is this Jersey guy a psychotic or what? Now we hear he is an arsonist. Is there any substantiation on this? Where did this information come from? By all means, he must be a kleptomaniac...but if he is an arsonist, this is alarming.

I can't tell for sure if it's the same guy. Doesn't seem like it, but I wish they'd gotten a face shot.

If this is the footage where he is supposedly "hamming it up", he must be the shyest man on earth... JMO...

I did that once...and almost called the police because it was low light out, early in the morning, on a beach, and I thought it was out of place. It was a DOG wearing clothing!!!! I felt like an idiot!!!:crazy:

..the neighbour, mary hurt, said today on HLN.

..she saw jersey that day ( oct.3rd ) as he was next door doing a small job for her next door neighbours----moving sprinklers around as they had seeded their lawn, and were away.

..she saw him at noon-----and then she left at 1 p.m.

..at 9:30 p.m. the sprinklers were still in the same spot and running.

..by 11 p.m. they were turned off ( she assumed jersey turned them off )

..what was he wearing that day?

..a white t-shirt, and he had shaved his head.


---------the mug shot originally ran with his arrest, someone early speculated that they used one on file. and that's why we hadn't seen the bald head.

There was one case here where a three month old was stolen for sexual purposes. I have completely blocked this and said it could never happen again. I pray that this is not what happened.

Has any reporter found this person's record for arson? If confirmed, I am going to be sick. If this person sets fires w/o doing it for money, I am scared to death of what happened.
