Awesome. So, no one is cleared as far as we know, and no one will be if there is no arrest, trial and conviction.
 
OT, I went to watch football and I came back to find that the discussion thread for the detailed article on DB's family speaks out has been moved...Does anyone know where it is? I didn't see it in the "parking" or the "Basement."

The ex Step MIL, also mentioned that DB came to live with her for a little while after DB & Sean separated, and DB tried, when she ran away from her father's and before moving in with SB & his family, to live with the relatives in Delaware and then again after she had her son. When things didn't work out in DE, DB tried living at her father's, in Independence, MO again. Then she moved in with JI.

So, I think that DB, at least until three years ago did have fairly close contact with her mother's brother and mother's side of the family. She lived in DE, when young, then after her father moved her to MO, then after she split with Sean. IMO, JC has at least some knowledge of DB's lifestyle since she her youth, since she became a wife, mother, and then single mother.

Just b/c he is a criminal does not necessarily make his opinion of DB invalid.

That's how I read it too, as it states that DB found a picture of Lisa in the outfit.

It's logical to assume that after finding the clothing, and after DB found a picture of Lisa in that outfit, the next step would be to search through Lisa's room to see if that outfit was still there or missing.
 
You know, I am just now reminded about a comment attributed to LE when the house search occurred. Didn't they say something about looking for something the parents didn't have but may have now?

Did I imagine that? :waitasec:

Jim Spellman of CNN did respond to a tweet from CaseSignal asking if the area of the sighting by Mike T (Motorcyle Man) had been searched before yesterday. He confirmed with KCPD that it had been searched twice before.

@CaseSignal area of MT sighting was searched 2X pr KCPD

Yes, I remember seeing that too. It was cryptic, who knows what it meant - I haven't seen any follow up at all.

Are they talking about cash? ??

I am so glad they pulled that past the media. There is so much about this case that they (the media, not LE) are doing more harm than good. I was sure hoping that after all of that info they would have searched it.

Interesting article Doc. Thanks for posting. Couple of observations:

1. Mr. Abeyta's experience at the house with Mr. LeRette as a spokesperson and the link to the benefactress "money trail" coincides with previous research.

2. Mr. Abeyta seems to be looking at things a little differently as the investigation progresses and has a lot of questions about why these parents are making certain decisions (which he attributes to others; I don't necessarily agree with that, but he now does ask "why they are allowing" others to make what he considers such counter-productive decisions in searching for an abducted baby).

3. Odd that Debbi never even spoke with him and was cleaning the kitchen the whole time. Wonder why he was worried earlier that one of the parents would commit suicide? Wonder if his wife had considered it and he was projecting?

Considering she didn't know him and he would subsequently talk to the media (and had already before he even entered the home), why would you want to talk to someone who all but certainly is going to repeat everything you say and not keep your confidences? Would you trust someone who is likely to publicize what you say?
