That gold bar part kinda makes me go whhhaaattt?
Another article. This one adds that Gregory's house was broken into. http://helenair.com/news/local/upda...cle_f21bf134-1452-56ef-8512-5a2e6122a9f8.html
"Chief Johnson said he returned to Gregory’s home on Monday morning and found it had been broken into. He said the front door was open but that someone had taken the air conditioner from the window to gain entry. A big screen TV was found outside the back door; clothing, new towels and pillows were in plastic bags, but something or someone interrupted the activity. Johnson said the television was recovered and the home secured with evidence tape."
And there is this: "Howard said that on Oct. 19 a cleaning woman at the Larkspur home found a large gold bar, and immediately called Beverly who friends said went to the house to get it. The whereabouts of that ingot is unknown at this time, he said."
Gregory was last seen by a witness on Oct. 28 at 10 p.m. leaving his residence driving a white 1995 Camry at a speed faster than normal heading east toward downtown Deer Lodge — in a direction opposite from his mother’s house.

From the article linked above:
Wednesday 10/28 was the day both of them were last seen. What was so urgent he needed to leave his home in a hurry at 10 and head toward downtown, only to have his car end up in the opposite direction at his late father's house on Larkspur Rd in the Beck Hill area north of town? I have an awful feeling the son may have had some connections to some not-so-law-abiding folks.

It wasn't difficult to locate the home on Larkspur and all I can say is... they clearly have a completely different definition of "subdivision" in Montana, than we do here.
I sure hope they're searching all those outbuildings at the late husband/father's house.
Interesting. It looks like the ownership of that property just switched to Greg's name on Oct 15, 2015. Prior to that it was joint owned with his father.
I wrote a PM on the fb page, the dogs are being cared for...and Greg's dog is okay.... So if they are found and come home, they do have their beloved pets waiting for them.....Thank Goodness....IMHO
Now that's rather curious. Obviously something fishy is going on with the son. His associates or something - maybe even something he had no knowledge of, and unwittingly got involved with. Whatever it was that caused him to leave the crock pot on and his dogs unattended was serious enough to him, to get him out the door at 10 at night.
I saw it rumored, so take it with a grain of salt, that the gold bar found had an exchange rate of $450 K.
Why would that be sitting around a dead man's house?
