Hello everyone,
I was hoping somebody was going to post about this story.
I am from Missoula, Montana and I currently live here.
In the last year we have had some interesting cases that this town has never seen.
This one in particular has piqued my interest. Specifically because I grew up in the neighbor hood where this box was found.
I know the exact house and I have been driving by it for as long as I can remember on my daily routes.

I am ready to see details about the missing boys and when the DNA tests come back. I have no idea who the previous tenants were that were evicted from the house.

I do know that the professor at the university believes that these are bones of male children. I am attempting to find the article in which it states that.

Not only has this been happening but only a few blocks away from the box of bones, there was a serious homicide only a few blocks away from there and those two people are in the Missoula jail currently awaiting sentencing. It is one crazy story.

Are you talking about http://missoulian.com/news/local/ne...cle_f82858f4-8dd5-5279-84f1-b1d9250af3e6.html ?

BBM.

I hope you can find the article you mention. That would be interesting information to confirm considering that the Skelton brothers are a possibility here.

This article quotes an anthropology professor but doesn't specify that the bones are male.

...Police documents say the Montana State Crime Lab verified the remains as human, and an anthropology professor at the University of Montana determined they were "likely modern and not archaeological."

The professor estimated the ages of the children to be 2-4 years old, 5-8 years old and 6-10 years old...

I haven't found any articles or news broadcasts revealing the gender (s) of the remains.

I've searched, too, and am seeing the same comments from the anthropology professor who makes no mention of gender.

Camper guy has three children. All are active on social media and too old to be the kids in the box.

Doug Labare, who lived in a camper in the backyard of the home until he was forced to leave in the summer of 2016, confirmed to the Missoulian on Thursday he is the person of interest Missoula police are looking to speak with in the case.

BBM. How odd.

And what a strange set up this whole house has had in recent years. I'm in real estate and have spent a lot of time working alongside property management companies and this whole thing before they were bought in is odd. I wonder what they know about who had access to the sheds/whose items were stored in there.

Seems like the property owners should be looked at closely by the police, tbh.

I wonder if all the 3 kids went missing at the same time, if so they could be siblings of either sex. Since the age ranges are 2-10, I'm guessing siblings, or at least a group of 3 kids missing at once, rather than someone picking up kids one at a time. I'd think if they were taken one at a time they'd be about the same age.

I'm looking through namus and am surprised by how many groups of 3 siblings have been reported missing. Sad.

Idaho & even Washington aren't far from Missoula. As far as that goes, I'm guessing these kiddos could be from WA, OR, ID, MT, WY or even CA.

I've also considered the possibility that the remains are of children who were never reported missing.

Do they know the estimated time of death yet? Or gender?

I looked up missing siblings in groups of three:

The Hoag boys (1967) MO
William (11), Joel (13), Craig (13)

The Matory-Williams children(1977) CA
Yolanda (7), Violet (9), Ivy (12)

The Brown children (1985) FL
Brandon (2), Barry (6), Sheketah (10)

The Glenn-Hughes children (1996) NC
Sarena (11), Brent & Brenttany (4)

The Skelton boys (2010) MI
Tanner (5), Alexander (7), Andrew (9)
http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/s/skelton_andrew.html

It could even be three of the youngest Sodder children for all we know.

The Sodder children (1945) WV
Betty (5), Jennie (8), Louis (9), Martha(12), Maurice(14)

The Brown children from FL/1985 fit the age ranges perfectly. Authorities haven't revealed race or gender, so they're not out of the realm of possibility. We also don't know if they're a sibling group or not, but that makes the most sense based on what little we know.
Thanks, athousandyearswide.

That would be something if it's three unrelated children. I never even thought of it until now but have heard of bodies being found together that didn't actually know each other in life (Allison Foy and Angela Rothen).

I'm searching serial predators now and noticed Bar-Jonah was in Montana at one point. Could one of the remains have even been Zachary Ramsay?

The female tenant who formerly lived at this address has a familial connection to Michigan.
Are you referring to H. C-A.? I'm not seeing the familial connection to Michigan.
