I know what you're saying Sweetmop, but I don't think you're thinking the way they think. There is no purpose to some of their lies. It's just a way of life with them, and they've taught their children well. It's ingrained in all of them.

We are very fortunate to not understand their mentality! MHO!

Dr. Henry Lee just may have been straight with Baez about the decomposition smell in Casey's car. He may have told Baez it Was HUMAN decomposition and that he would have to say it was. (don't care for Henry Lee, tho) Maybe that is why the Anthony's cancelled for the Nancy Grace show. Just an idea.

Well, I rewatched NG. Guess I didn't listen closely before, because they showed a clip where Cindy talks about George's former career, as a detective in Ohio. Woops! Note to self to take the corks out of my ears next time.

While I'm actually greatly relieved to know GA is not a former employee of OC; I still have serious qualms about how LE down there is proceeding with this case.

I'm having a hard time understanding why LE is being criticized.

I've read a few comments that said that LE is doing nothing to find Caylee...I strongly disagree .I think that they know much, much more than we do.

Also, It's quite possible that they do not want Leonard searching in the econ river because they know Caylee is not I there. I would trust LE before LP or Tim Miller.

I'm also very interested in why the FBI would ask LP to take a polygraph.....Is another "Bombshell" on the way?

I know this sounds absurd but is it possible that a dog could detect human decomp at the Econ rivers edge after all this time? I doubt it but I've been amazed by dogs more than once.

It's been talked about the possibility that he (LP) may have "planted" evidence. He has no problem taking it.

The two things that disturbed me tonight are:

1. I heard the name Dr. Henry Lee....still have nightmares of him from the OJ trial. His words, "somting rong here" were all it took to sway the jury.

2. Lee's creepy laugh describing the smell coming from the car...downright scary.

I had read about the laughter before I actually heard it. I was thinking it must have been just a little nervous snicker or something. NOT! He was laughing.

There wasn't a post about it as I was on Murt's site and got yelled at by Murt (who had obviously gotten chewed out by someone else!).

TES was requesting more food as there wasn't enough coming in to feed the searchers lunch and we already knew that the number of volunteers was way under expectations for Saturday (they were requesting more). They indicated the need was immediate. IIRC, there were posts about that on here.

My first thought was how to make it happen fast...and my second thought was radio stations. So I asked people call them to request they mention the need for both. Boy...did I ever get yelled at for that suggestion!! You would have thought I had called in the National Guard without asking the Governor or something. What I thought was filling an immediate need was obviously not what they wanted at all! I guess instead...they wanted us to cough up the money as we had been doing to buy sandwiches, pizzas, etc. and to get off our @sses to fly down to search (at least...it is certainly the way it made me feel.) Never will I offer to help again! I don't do things half-@ssed and to me it made perfect sense to go straight to the public for those requests. When someone asks that an immediate need be filled...I fill it any way I can. If they don't want it...why ask in the first place?! :furious:

I'm sorry SS., you didn't deserve that. Why would it matter where the searchers came from? I remember at one point reading that they were accepting registration through sometime in the afternoon. I think you did good...you did what you could.

408 is definitely a toll plaza. There is a toll right around the Lake Underhill exit which would be S. Conway Rd. Exit. If he had Epass and was on the 408 for over a mile or two, he would have definitely hit at least one toll.

OMG, that is terrible! You were trying to help and they threw a fit! So did someone actually bring supplies to them? Is that when they got mad or was it because someone told them you called the radio stations? I guess I'm wondering if there was a response to the radio announcements by the public?

This reminds me of the Hurricane Katrina aftermath, when people in the New Orleans area and the Mississippi Gulf Coast were begging for assistance, and when people responded and tried to enter, they were turned away even though the residents were still on roof tops, sleeping out in the open with no clean water to drink, no food, nothing. It really makes you want to turn around and ignore all cries for help, doesn't it? "Oh, but that's not the kind of help we wanted."

I'm sorry this happened to you. Rest assured, you did a good thing.

I listened to Lee A's statement to LE when it was first released and his laughter bothered me at that time. Hearing it again on NG, it was positively creepy. Did he really thing it so funny he parents could barely stand to be near the car with that odor reeking everywhere? Is he diabolical or what?

That statement has bothered me since I first heard it. What does that mean? I have never heard anyone use that term.
