Carlos Padilla announces that the FBI has confirmed that Caylee is deceased as he also announces that OSCO will no longer "search" for a live Caylee.

In other words, we are done with wild goose chases and we are through being criticized for not looking for a live child. LE pre-empted the press conference at which there would be all sorts of "evidence" announced by the A family and LE is just too busy to respond to their cr*p anymore. It is over, they are ready for trial for murder.

MN jumped off the ship and LE finally announced the confirmation of death by the FBI. I think someone here is correct, they have seen new results of tests, LE is not taking anymore cr*p, MN's agreement with them is breached because there is conclusive evidence of death and they, against his advice, decided to ignore the evidence and launch a PR campaign against LE. MN wants no part of it.

There are only 2 people who have not jumped ship on KC, her mother and her attorney. The only one to hang on to the A's is KFN.

The only ones in the whole mess who care about Caylee and haven't made outrageous statements on international news, or stand to gain monetarily, is OSCO. I think the people of Orlando should be proud. Their police department has integrity.

I think those clothes are somewhere searchers have already been, thus the condescending tone I read that comment with "they haven't even found her clothes"... like the searchers are idiots.

I read her statement in a similar manner. To me, it was like she was saying the clothing would be easier to find than Caylee, and that the searchers must have been searching near the clothing, but missed them.

CA is a total control freak and everytime NG replays that tape showing her on the telephone in her kitchen what I see is a woman who has always been able to manipulate and successfully control the outcome of every situation, especially any situation(s) involving KC, and that IMO is what will break her, not her acceptance of the death of her grandbaby or the realization that her own daughter is responsible for her death, not even the stress of all of the press coverage or a million protester's outside of her home - she will break when she realizes that she can't control the outcome of "this one". I saw her behavior not as a grandparent who was in denial, but as someone who was baffled and completely stunned that she, CA wasn't being believed - nobody but nobody questions or challanges CA, and when you do she goes all out on a "seek & destroy" mission, as we have seen time and time again. Her break down won't be the result of overwhelming grief for the loss of that precious baby girl, it will be because she finally realizes "I can't fix this one KC" and IMHO she isn't a "fixer" out of love for her family, its all about appearance to CA, how others view her family is not only a reflection on CA, its all about CA!

From what I have been able to understand, they both seem to have agreed on one thing - that the forensics reports that have been released, are preliminary.

Do they know the date she said this? They could probably go back to the coverage of the previous several days and figure out where the searchers were and go back there.

No...she was just gone so long that a lot of people lost faith. I live in the West and remember this case so clearly. There was never evidence of Elizabeth being dead.

And her parents were put through the wringer as well... LE questioned them at length several times.... made them feel they were under suspicion, too. I read Ed's book, it was VERY interesting.

I had seen the video or parts of it, but had not heard the audio. WOW! How could anyone hurt this precious child?! I noticed Nancy was almost in tears, too. NG has been doing this a lot.
When other guests on the show are harsh on the Anthony's, Nance does not stop them...nor does she respond. YEt the Anthony bashing has gone on for a long time now.
Nancy probably feels as we do, but does not want to bash them publicly...she lets others do it for her.:clap:

I am proud of her for not stooping to that level and I've noticed her stopping a few guests when they go too far. Personally, I think a lot of the bashing has gone way too far just for humor's sake... it's not one bit funny, and I would bet that a lot of posters would have a different demeanor if they were thrust into this situation!!

That video of precious little Caylee singing and talking, and asking Papa "if he's tired" just did it for me.

My husband came into the den and I was crying , he thought something horrible had happened in our family!

WOW ! (Just a note - LA has lawyered up and in the past has threatened to subpeona and file suit against anyone who slanders him on the net, so you might want to edit your post to use his initials instead of spelling out the name.......

I agree, but even using the initials is not going to be enough... anyone who reads these boards knows what those initials stand for.
I think this incest thing is a crock... there is no proof... or better yet, not even a valid reason to suspect it, certainly nothing to back it up. Better not to even talk about it, IMO.

Of course it's a 'theory' but, then again, what are theories based on? Bottom line is, this case is bizarre...so....why else would the family be covering it up, etc.....hide the skeletons...etc......you gotta' think 'whacko' to decypher whacko...sorry

Well, to be blunt, most theories are based on at least an iota of fact or something to back that theory up. There is NOTHING to back this up except LP's statement, and you have to take what he says with a few grains of salt. And... just a little friendly advice... when stating something like this, you should probably indicate that it is your opinion... not state it as if it is a fact, unless you have proof..... and there is none that we know of.
Also... we have heard nothing regarding any DNA samples that he has given or that have been tested. At least, I've not seen any reports on it.
