I *so* hope jail time is included. When I read in my hometown newspaper, the sentences people receive for stealing food at a grocery store, or stealing a cell phone from Sprint, you better believe I hope the people that are involved in this get jail time....though I won't hold my breath. Life can be pretty screwed up at times.

^^MOO,MOO^^

I don’t think Felicity is going to get jail time even though I don’t believe she’s sorry. She is sorry she got caught. Remember, a hard-working individual didn’t get into their top school because of her.

I believe Lori and Mossimo are going to spend at least a year in jail but get out early for “sweet-pie” good behavior. I bet they’re calling Martha Stewart for prison tips.

Candace Cameron Bure better stop suggesting she’s defending Lori and her husband or she will lose the “sweet-pie” reputation too. She is lucky she isn’t on The View anymore otherwise I don’t know how she’d handle this.

I think Candace Cameron Burr and co-stars are more likely worried about the status of their jobs and future residual income from serialization. It might be portrayed as concern for Lori, but it’s likely more about money.

If Lori goes to prison, it may very well endanger the $$$$ residuals for old programs that she and everyone else has been counting on for future income. Hollywood sure hates a money-loser.

Martha Stewart was industrious enough and clever enough to rebrand herself. In her post-prison life, she’s turned into a very interesting person. I don’t know if the hilarious and unexpected symbiosis with SnoopDog would have ever come about if she hadn’t been incarcerated.

I don’t see Laughlin as having the moxy of Martha Stewart. Lori only knows one script and right now she’s playing it very poorly.

But she won’t be selling her clothes on ebay to pay the yoga bills. Husband Mossimo made enough from his clothing line to keep them comfy just where they are. But being ex-felons would likely hamper their social opportunities.

Lori Loughlin is trotting around LA after being slapped with new charges of money laundering and the press is commenting on everything, including her outfits.

Why do I believe this “source” is her PR team?

“A source told PEOPLE this week that Loughlin is attempting to maintain some sense of normalcy as she awaits her fate.

“While waiting for this to come to some conclusion, she’s trying to keep a somewhat regular schedule — going to yoga and pilates and seeing friends for lunch,” the source said. “She is very faith-based, and she knows her faith will get her through this.”

“She’s holding up well, given the circumstances,” the insider added. “She has a strong very strong faith that is helping her immensely. She loves her husband and her children very much.”

Maybe not until LL is sentence and fingers crossed gets some jail time, she'll realize she is not above the law. Just Maybe.
I agree it's her pr team.

I save every single payday in the hopes I can afford to send my kids to college. I have been saving for years and so far my 2 oldest (14,15) have 8k each and my youngest (6) only 2.2k. I do this through Edward jones and every pay day I have money deposited since they were born.

Candace and Lori may well be close from back in the Full House days. So there could be some genuine attempt at support. But it will be interesting to see if those old Full House reruns continue to air if Lori goes to the " jug." The loss of the residuals could be an issue for some. I suspect for Candace Cameron its probably pretty small potatoes to what she makes from all those Hallmark movies and her ads.

Same here. I opened an account for my son just after he was born and have been putting a little in there every month.

Go to the Daily Mail. Lori is the headline with an image of her looking like a soccer mom with CAPS “UP TO 40 YEARS! NEW CHARGES!”

Read the TOP voted comments. People are outraged that yoga soccer Mom Lori could be jailed longer than murderers and former Trump campaign members.

Lori’s PR team believes the public is stupid. They planted this in the DailyMail to curry favor in the public and are instructing her whereabouts and outfits. MOO

They’re super close. Before Fuller House was on Netflix, Candace posted on Instagram regularly of herself with Lori in Lori and Mossimo’s picturesque backyard garden and pool.

The source is clearly her PR team (bbm)

“She is very faith-based, and she knows her faith will get her through this.”

“She has a strong very strong faith that is helping her immensely.

Nice trying to tie her “innocence” to faith

I was taught you had to Confess and Repent to get Forgiveness

She should be worrying about Confessing and Repenting to the prosecution. Not going around acting all faith-y

You are so correct about this.

The fact that the Gianulli’s are using a PR team and manipulationg the media like this is what damns them even more in my eyes.

Have they shown one ounce of regret or concern for the kids that were denied entry because of their fraud?

NONE AT ALL

How does that square with her “faith”?

And I’ll bet the money they are spending on their own PR could send many deserving kids to a solid university for an education that would change their lives. But no - for Lori it’s all about her

Does anyone know why Felicity wasn't charged with money laundering?
I looked back and she made a $15k donation to that foundation which to me means tax evasion and money laundering. I would think all charges would have to be filed before anyone would be allowed to plead guilty to anything.

they might get a Smollett sentence. If I was them, I'd demand 'equality' with JS.

I'm sure you're just joking, but I don't think that could even possibly happen because Smollett's case was local/state and this is federal.
Also two totally different crimes. Chicago's politics has a very long history of corruption, so I don't think most people should be surprised by anything that happens there.

IMO, none of the participants in the cheating scandal are sorry for what they did. They are sorry because they got caught and exposed. It's embarrassing to them and also may be detrimental to their careers.

Huffman has a series coming out on Netflix which has been delayed. It is definitely in her best interest to get this behind her as quickly as possible. At least, she is acting remorseful.

Huffman and her husband, William Macy, have cultivated an image of a down-to-earth, working class type of family, even though they are really rich Hollywood folk.

I think that Macy had to know what his wife was doing even if he didn't really agree with it. Now, that it is out in the open, I can imagine that he is none too happy and encouraged her to plead and deal with the consequences to allow them to move past this as quickly as possible.

That's more than Lori Loughlin is doing. She's acting like this is one big joke. Not only is she damaging her "image," it is setting a very bad example for both of her girls.

Laughing, joking, taking selfies and signing autographs is absolutely ridiculous. I'll be really interested to see how all this works out for her husband and her.
I so agree with this. I'm sure Felicity feels remorse that she put herself in this position, but whoever is advising her is doing the best possible job of damage control. She is also laying pretty low and keeping her head down which helps. Even dressing and looking kind of haggard and somber. I don't think what she did was right (it was wrong AND criminal), but public anger toward her already seems to have diminished.

Lori is coming off like a total entitled dingbat. Her blasé attitude toward this whole predicament, la-la-la-ing around LA, off to yoga and lunch dates and shopping and valet parking in bright, perky suburban mom outfits, while thumbing her nose at the charges is a terrible, tone deaf look. I shouldn't be surprised, but I actually am kind of amazed that she was signing autographs by court and treating this whole jaunt off to Boston so fun and lightly. If they are getting advice, it's terrible. If they are ignoring advice, they are stupid.

I don't think it has anything to do with faith. I think it has all to do with ego and pride. This is totally about holding her head up high and defiantly refusing to act humiliated or shamed. I think she is so caught up in this need to show that she still has her dignity, that she is blinded to the fact that legally and socially, she's achieving the opposite of what she thinks. She's not harboring ANY good will, she is turning people off, she's making people WANT to see her knocked off her pedestal and eat crow. But I think preserving her ego is actually more important to her than the reality of how she's only hurting herself. And that's just public backlash. There is also the whole reality of the pretty significant criminal and legal charges against her.

The sad thing is that she had the wholesome "Aunt Becky" thing going for her. Many people who felt nostalgia and liked at least her television characters. It takes a LOT to reverse that kind of good will so quickly and drastically. I don't see her coming back easily from this. I said it in another post - maybe a Bravo real housewife thing. Where it's actually a "good" thing for ratings to be a vilified, controversial, obnoxious, entitled personality. (Once she gets out of prison that is.) ;) IMO!

In this photo, she looks stressed. Note the way her fingers are clenched. No big smile here! (No way mean to take up for her.)

It was part of her plea deal.
