Some of these jobs pay very well. A friend of mine is a college-educated, licensed teacher and quit her job (with benefits) to be an au pair making A LOT more money.
 
Those photos of hers pose another conundrum for her. She claims that because the children look happy...those pictures prove that she was a "good Mother."

But she sure looks happy too. Well, by the same measure, doesn't that prove Jason was a good husband?

If she says.."you can't tell by pictures." The answer is "Yes. And that goes for YOU using pictures to prove YOU were a good Mother to children whose father you murdered."

Yes, though the email address is spelled correctly and the MySpace profile I think you're talking about is based in Concord TN. My US geography is not so hot but isn't Molly supposed to have grown up near Knoxville? Additionally in the yahoo profile in the question she answers about university it says she went to Clemson -where media reports Molly went- and Emory - where Sharon Martens went.

You're right, there are plenty of pictures of her looking happy w/Jason too.
 
Remember it has been claimed that she is a serial liar. Supposedly she claimed to have been friends with Mag, Jason's first wife, claimed to have been an Olympic swimmer, etc.

The comparisons to Casey Anthony just seem to pile up.

Concord is only 18 mi outside of Knoxville. I think you are onto something here. Great find!

Molly graduated from High School in 2001. Her uncle is quoted in this article as saying she then "went" to Clemson. But it doesn't say she graduated. Indeed the article mentions her doing odd childcare jobs and trying to model(which apparently went nowhere.)

Clemson is a highly regarded school. If she graduated, one would think, especially with her family connections, she would have done more than babysitting.

So what's the real history of Molly Martens from 2001 to 2008 when she gets the Nanny job?

She is alleged to have told Jason's sister that she is bi-polar. That often manifests itself at late adolescence, college age.

Love ve to know more about Molly's missing years. Why is a "great student" from what seems like a well connected family...spending all those years before the nanny job...as a Babysitter, not a Nanny...according to her Uncle.

Her picture is in the 2003 yearbook, so it seems she stayed there for a while, at least. In the yahoo account she says she followed this up with time in Emory, but I haven't seen anything else to verify that.

Love to know more about Molly's "lost period." IMO this family is covering up for a murder she committed. In addition to protecting their daughter, perhaps they are protecting their reputation. If so, there may be issues in this long period that would bear on the murder. In that article I posted, her maternal Uncle says she is "very, very smart." But then describes a long period of "babysitting", attempt at modeling, sort of like odd jobs.

Was this 2006-7? I wonder who Molly was babysitting for then? Did they have an 8 year old daughter?

This could be quite a find when her whole case depends on her credibility.

Here is another example of fantasizing. So much like Casey Anthony and her fantasy jobs and fantasy nanny.

"I have a beautiful step-daughter whom I deeply love and cherish. I understand her standoffishness(forgive the fake word) because she's only spent one summer and a few holidays with me in her life. She spends the school year with her mother and step-father 10 hours away. But she'll be here for her birthday and I want to get her something perfect. She will be eight. I don't want to have to ask her mother for a variety of reasons and as her innocent voice reminds me "dad is clueless." I know she's a disney kid, high school musical, cheetah girls, ect, but I really want to get her something special that would help bridge the gap between our personal relationship. I love kids, I get them, don't get me wrong. I'm actually a primary school teacher myself. I'm just looking for a little extra help this time. Any ideas?

I believe you're right...it is Molly...when I googled last night I gave up too quickly...I don have a yahoo account to see her email...but I searched for "molshka" and found this link... https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20061101065037AAO9ler ... there is a post on this page where she talks about graduating from Clemson and going to Emory for undergraduate...interesting...I wonder what she majored in?
 
Yes, Molly does seem to be living in a fantasy world. The parallels to Casey Anthony are eerie. The only difference was Casey didn't want children, and Molly did. But the outrageous lies and fabrications, however, she still knew right from wrong. She seems very childlike. In the 911 call, Tom tells the operator Molly is a swim coach. I think she was more of a swim team mom. :twocents:

Her uncle, who seems to want to put her in a very positive light, claiming she us "very, very intelligent" in his interview....never added that she had a graduate degree.

I think we have stumbled upon a little treasure trove of Molly-lies. You all are amazing sleuthers. Maybe there's more!

There goes her credibility!
 
Do we know for sure that "molshka" graduated from high school in 2001? In the 2003 Clemson University yearbook, it appears she is a freshman. So that would leave a year between high school and college unaccounted for. This is very common in Europe, but not so much here in the US. Hmmm... :twocents:
