I would hope so too. Follow her and see if she'll lead them to Madalina.I'm gonna guess the authorities know exactly where DC went and are in contact with the authorities in that country. I sure hope so.
I agree, that would be the best case. But the cynic in me thinks she just escaped US law enforcement because she did something horrible to Madalina. I hope I’m wrong!Question:
If she has returned to her home country and reunites with her daughter, providing confirmation of wellness at an embassy or police department, will the case be closed?
It would be satisfactory conclusion for me. In fact, best case.

Last I'd read, Palmiter showed her the door and filed for divorce so, why would a reporter show up at the house to talk with her?Did Diana Cojocari flee the country?
People sharing this post claim it's from Diana Cojocari's Facebook page. It says she is heading to JFK airport and then back to Eastern Europe.www.wcnc.com

WCNC Charlotte's Verify Team did a reverse Google image search on the post that claims to be Diana's Facebook page, and nothing came up, meaning it, at least, isn't copied from anywhere else.

WCNC Charlotte's Meghan Bragg went to her house in Cornelius just to see if she could talk to her, but no one answered the door.
The house was pretty dark, and it didn't look like anyone was there. It's really hard to tell if she did, in fact, leave the country, as airlines also don't have to disclose if a passenger was on a flight or not.
The public has for sure been posting on whatever they can about Madalina's whereabouts. It is a bit odd to me adding someone you know may have unalived their child. To each their own but someone who could have harmed their own child would have zero access to mine. Family or not. All just my opinion.I wish one of her Facebook friends would post, asking about Madalina.
I asked a couple of months back what the diplomatic relationship is between the US and Moldova and there is not one. They may have had their own curiosity and have established that Madalina is alive and well but they have no agreement with the US to share that knowledge.Wouldn't Moldovan government cooperate in confirming Madalina's well-being? If she went back to school, doesn't she need some paperwork?
I remember early on there was an interview with Madalina's grandmother (I think), it didn't sound like she knew where Madalina was unless she was lying.
From your link:This information about DC leaving the country was also in the People magazine article that was last posted.
Mother of Madalina Cojocari leaves US nearly 2 years after Cornelius girl’s disappearance
Diana’s departure comes nearly two years after the Cornelius girl’s disappearance.www.wbtv.com
Yes indeed. We still know almost nothing! Like what happened to this little girl, is she dead or alive, where is she, what country is she even in, what does the mother know, what does the grandmother know, what others may have been involved - a very long list of unknowns. Yet the mother has served her time and has been allowed to return to Moldova. Is she really intelligent enough to have completely outwitted LE? Couldn't they have charged her with murder, to force her to produce some evidence of life?IMO there’s something seriously wrong with this case.
